Barken Viking

We booked 2 twin rooms and single room in the lower deck. One of the twin rooms did not match the photos as in website. The lighting inside the room was poor. The ship looks great from the outside but the rooms can be renovated, especially the bathroom and the sinks. Positives: It is close to the city center. Breakfast is the only good part of the stay!

Located in the harbour with direct access to boats, busses and the central station is not far away.  Rooms are small, but ok. They serve a good midclass breakfast, unfortunately the bar war closed and no option to sit on deck.

The idea of the place is creative, but the execution could have been better. The place needs fixes here and there, the rooms however were not the most convenient. The water pressure in the showers was the worst part of it all. But truly feels like living in a ship, especially on the lower deck.

If it wasn't for the boat atmosphere and the quite nice breakfast I might've been a bit disappointed. The main entrance was broken so I couldn't open it with my card as supposed to. Luckily I had my phone with me and could call the staff. The room was a bit dark due to the small windows but hey that's part of being a boat. When the deck opens again after renovations I think it can be a really nice place.
