PIERDREI Hotel HafenCity Hamburg

This was an excellent hotel with an amazing location walking distance to many attractions. Service was excellent, prompt, accommodating and professional. The hotel and rooms were clean, as were the showers and bathrooms. The sheets were a very nice textured cotton, the pillows were comfortable and the bed was firm. The only issue was perhaps the small size of a single room versus the cost. Otherwise, superb.

Visiting Hamburg for a business trip, this is the closest hotel to my clients. Staff is kind and speak English, room is nice and quite, at third floor there is no noise from the main road. From the airport it took about 45 minutes by underground and bus at low cost. The room has new and modern furniture with a nice bathroom. The room is nicely decorated and you can open the window to get outside fresh air. Free wi-fi fast and easy to connect. I'm surprised the minibar is empty, there are no UBS plugs to charge mobile phones and devices. There are just 3 power plugs for charging mobile/devices and badly located. The TV has over 50 channels, only 2 English news channels but no movies. I didn't find a welcome kit about services available (room service is available?) and info about area/city. Breakfast is not included in the daily price. The lift needs the key tap to run, it's probably for security reason but very annoying, most people in the lift don't understand how it works. So the wait for the lift is always very long.

I was a lucky one to visit the hotel during the soft opening week. Really enjoyed my stay. Unique Interior with iconic Vintage toys and books. Great ambience in the restaurant. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful room. Great service.

Lovely place with lovely people, really nice breakfast, dinner and coffee/tea around the clock. An awesome lounge area to play the board games from their collection or to read and relax. I was also using the great working space with plugs and wlan. The athmosphere is warm, cosy, stylish and decorated with many art pieces unlike many other hotels. We enjoyed our short stay a lot and wish the PIERDREI Hotel good luck for the future!
