Best Western Hotel Plaza

Great that it was within walking distance of the station and the places my Sister and I went to Naples to visit. The breakfast was good. The main "but" / con for me was the size of the shower cubicle, it was tiny, the tiniest I'd ever showered in. Was also disappointed to see that the double room is only a tad bigger than the single and both had the same tiny shower cubicle. We enjoyed our stay regardless.

The hotel is quite ok and tidy, although the building is ancient and spaces are limited. It does its best to keep up to its standard, personnel is very kind and helpful, breakfast is super good with a good view from the terrace. The location is practical but the zone is not one of the nicest in Napoli.

Pros: Friendly Staff (they helped us with suggestions to make our stay the best it could be), Great breakfast, Proximity to the train station, cheap grocery store next door, and comfy beds.
Cons: Not a safe area for solo travelers or women. My friend and I wanted to stay out later to explore, but there was too much activity outside the hotel and we did not feel safe. The bathtub was gross and dirty. The reception area, and lounge smelled like smoke (our room was fine). Noisy when your room is closer to the front of the building. We took the metro to get to the better parts of the city, because it was too far to walk everywhere. Overall, we had an okay stay. There were some obvious cons to our stay, but the staff made this place worth it. I personally would pick a better area to stay in next time, mostly because Napoli has so much more to explore.

We liked everything from 24 th of October till 28 th, especially Gianfranco and Giuseppe, they were very kind, polite and joyfull.The only thing that disturbed was mosqitoes during the nights..The personal and breakfast food was good.Thank you.
