Hotel Atlantic

The main problems I had with this hotel were:
a) The room given did not much the description. I booked a double room and got a twin room. The hotel was booked, so they could not give me the room I wanted after bringing the issue to their attention.
b) From the hotel you could hear the noise from some bar outside. You can hear people and music very loudly. We were able to sleep past 3:00 am.
c) The beds are uncomfortable.
d) Some food in the breakfast buffet was not fresh at all. In fact, we had to ask the waitress to remove a piece of rotten cucumber.
e) Up to 10 minutes waiting for any of the small lifts during busy periods. Take the lift up even if you are going down, or use the stairs. On the positive side, the room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

A good hotel, very comfy bed and decent pillows. The surprise was no wash cloths in the bathroom, and like most Danish hotels, no facial tissue (Kleenex) in the rooms. A very nice breakfast buffet on the top floor, and if you ask, they will let you onto the balcony to take photos of the great view.

Posting here for a friend who is not online, but so enjoyed her stay. This was our third visit to this excellent hotel. The service was so very friendly, and the rooms were wonderfully comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed the central location. We must say we did miss the fridge and refreshing cold drinks in our room upon our very late arrival.

We found the staff to be very helpful. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of many of the main attractions, bars and restaurants. We stayed on the 08th floor and had great views out to the harbour. The continental breakfast was delicious and there were lots of choice.
