Hotel Zlatá Stoupa

Service is decent, beds are comfortable, but unfortunately I am 1.87m tall and ended up in one of the top floor rooms where I could only stand up straight in 40% of the room, and 20% of the bathroom! Would probably try it again though, as no other complaints, and location is very good.

Breakfast doesnt have normal orange juice and milk. Eggs are gone when you have breakfast at 09:30. Sometimes there is cake sometimes not. The rooms don't smell old and has good air conditioning. Receptionist are friendly and overall it was a comftable yet not an excelent stay.

Accommodation is different than in the photos. We had two single beds pushed together, although there were double beds when booking through booking. The next day at the reception they told us that we would pay extra for the children, although when booking I had 5 people (2 adults 3 children). I was supposed to call the hotel and check it out. Overall, they were nice, but the lack of service was unpleasant for me, and if I knew that we would still pay extra for the children, I would definitely stay elsewhere cheaper and more comfortable. The rooms smelled of smoke, even though there are no-smoking signs and cleaning, I would rather not comment, otherwise I would have to put a photo here with 10 years of unclean shower doors and dust for a year. Definitely not worth the money and next time definitely not elsewhere.

I can't rate the main building of the hotel, I was accommodated in the next building. But everything was fine. Room for CZK 2,700 for 2 nights, was equipped with a double bed. As I spin in my sleep, my limb kept falling either from the bed or into the gap between the mattresses. Otherwise sleeping comfortable. The room has air conditioning, TV and minibar. Of course there is a wardrobe and bedside tables, 2 chairs and a coffee table. Bathroom with spacious shower, toilet and sink. Don't forget your own shower gel. There are 2 jars with shower gel in the bathroom, but it does not foam at all.
Breakfast buffet. The hotel also has its own small car park, which is locked for the night, but it is better to reserve a parking space in advance. The parking lot is guarded by cameras, from the 24 hour reception. Staff nice, helpful and helpful. I would love to use this hotel again.
