Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station, an IHG Hotel

We found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, friendly, and a great value. Twin beds were comfortable. Shower was great. We were able to store our luggage in a locked room for later pickup after we checked out. Location near train station, restaurants, and other attractions is very convenient. Breakfast is a little light on protein, but otherwise good quality.

I went to this hotel for the second time, and again everything was very nice. Last time was in lockdown time a year ago, the room was not cleaned then you had to order what you wanted for breakfast the day before. Now the breakfast buffet was open again, and there were not really and regulations anymore luckily. The room was clean and spacious.

The bed was tiny, the room was not quite clean (you could see the stains on bed sides and carpet). The breakfast was a bit disappointing (not much variety offered), and the hard boiled eggs were not cooked properly, so I did not dare to eat them. The chairs in the breakfast area were not the cleanest. Only 1 out of 4 elevators work. And it's really slow waiting for it. So I just went up by stairs to the 4th floor because it was much faster. Overall it was a disappointing stay, and I would not come back. The plus is that the hotel is located just 5 minutes walk distance from the railway station, and the staff was friendly and helpful with the check in/out process.

Very convenient location from Rotterdam central station..Good comfortable rooms with continental breakfast..Pricing on a higher side. No complimentary water bottles provided.. extension of stay possible but might be expensive than initial booking..Always check online and also with reception and then make payment based on which ever is cheaper.
