Waterford Marina Hotel

Had the most lovely stay in this hotel! With thanks to the extremely kind staff, and particular thanks to the fantastic Liam who could not have been friendlier nor more accommodating. He is a huge credit to the establishment. The breakfast was lovely, the room was very spacious and bed was so comfortable. I look forward to returning next week when I finish placement there!

Bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable we booked a standard room but unfortunately we were given one that was designed for a disabled person. The shower was crammed and not suited for myself or my partner. It is great that these amenities are available but it was unfortunately not a good option for either of us as we were unable to stand upright in the shower and it also meant that the bathroom floor was soaked with water because of the lack of shower tray on the shower floor. We have stayed here before but unfortunately on this occasion I feel a little disappointed on our return here.

Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Limited menu. Mediocre food. When I returned to my room at 3pm on the first day and it had not been serviced, I was astonished to be informed by reception that it would not be done every day! They didn’t seem very busy, so I don’t understand. I requested that it be done on next day and they even changed the bed linen, which I didn’t expect. Decor is a bit jaded.

Nice hotel, large rooms, had one looking out to the water; plenty of free parking Ate in the restaurant on the last night and it was surprisingly good.
