HOME away from HOME for 5 days!
We were so sick (cold/flu) and had to extend our stay here. There's no place I rather have been than this hotel. The staff was so kind and apathetic to how miserable my husband and I were feeling. The restaurant lobby was where we spent most of our time just to get out of the room. Marco's team was extra accommodating and fed us amazing minestrone soups, hot toddy, and made sure I had a great glass of Bramito wine every day!!! One staff (Helene) even sent me a get well basket to my room with fruits & tissues. We spent a substantial amount of time in our room just being sick. It was a beautiful, comfortable, and 2nd home while we recovered. I would stay at this hotel again & again.

Possibly the best hotel in the world
Hotels often win prizes for their settings. They shouldn't. They ought to get prizes for the quality of experience they give their guests. We've just come back from a visit to the Ritz-Carlton Vienna, and we can truly say we have not come across service like it anywhere else in Europe for certain, and possibly even the world. The closest analogy is to imagine that you are a medieval potentate visiting a small town where the local chief official and the whole population is desperate to please you. They were all deeply professional, but also human and warm. We felt guests rather than clients. The hotel itself is beautiful (with the small exception of the corridors between the lift lobbies and the rooms - which look like they were decorated by someone who last did a four star business hotel on a motorway, ignore them, the rooms are very elegant and the common areas otherwise immaculate), and very well located for everything in Vienna. Tomasz Rachwal and his team do an outstanding job.

Amazing Birthday Weekend with the Ritz!
We traveled to the Ritz for my husband's 30th for a weekend with our little girl who is currently 6 months old. We had the most amazing time at the Ritz. The breakfast experience was fantastic. Ehab S. was very attentive and made sure we felt very welcome every day of our stay - many thanks and we will be back and hope to see you there again! Thanks a lot for addressing all the requests for our baby girl e.g freshly made breakfast fruit puree, soup ect.- always taken care of at breakfast and lunch with no hesitation and the chef suggestions were delicious - she loved it!
We tried the hotel restaurants and we would definitely recommend the Steakhouse for dinner, the ambience was cozy but elegant and the quality of the meal was superb! We also really enjoyed the lunch menu at the restaurant near the bar - the most delicious dishes our complements to the Chef! A special thanks to Jen for a fab service during our meals at the hotel.

Annelie from guest relations had a lovely surprise prepared for us in the room to celebrate my husband's 30th - thank you for all the details and for such a professional and lovely way of dealing with all our pre arrival requests.

We will be sure to come back soon :)

Pecking Order
On the fifth night of my 16 night stay, the suite beneath my room had a party with ridiculously loud music. Rather than telling the rich people to turn down their music, Ritz-Carlton staff were sure to let me know whose money was worth more. Initially the staff tried to play dumb and claimed they did not know where the noise was coming from. I did my own exploring and found the source. Staff claimed to have told the offender to turn down the music (and there were a couple periods where the noise level abated temporarily) but it would be turned back up again. Staff claimed to be powerless to prevent this bad behavior. In order to get any sleep that night I was forced to sleep in a different room.

The night manager was very polite and professional and even offered to allow me to stay in the new, bigger room for the duration of my stay. But as I was already five nights in and had unpacked all of my belongings, I chose to stay in my original room. I made repeated requests through the staff to speak with the GM but he ignored me and the staff continued to offer lower level managers. It is absolutely despicable what the hotel allowed to transpire and effectively telling a customer that there's a pecking order of which I was on the bottom.

As a result of the room change for the night, the front desk checked me out of my original room and back in. I believe this reset some sort of housekeeping clock because on the ninth day of my stay I had to request that the sheets be changed. This was resolved quickly.

I left a similar review with Marriott when they sent an email asking for my opinion of my stay. Typically, I received some sort of response from management if it is warranted. Apparently, Marriott or Ritz-Carlton Vienna management did not believe it was necessary in this case.

This is the fourth time we are staying
Here.
We stay in few places in Vienna but this one
Is now our new favorite.
The room are very nice and updated, very clean , and the staff is super super nice , specially in the front desk.
The breakfast is amazing. If you stay there
You must eat the breakfast, the various dishes and service are behind amazing.
The manager also stop to make sure all well and it looks like he is doing amazing job running a tight ship.
We will be back soon.

As expected-Ritz experience
Well not sure what I can say that hasn’t already been said. It’s a Ritz Carlton so you should get the Ritz experience for the premium price you pay, and we got exactly that. The rooms were spacious with a balcony to get some fresh air. The breakfast was really good with just delicious and melt in your mouth pastries and croissants. The bell man parked the car for me and even though I asked him for a parking lot he saved me money by saying it’s the weekend just park right here on the street. The concierge arranged a sparkling candle for me as it was my wife’s birthday.
So overall a great Ritzy experience.

Oh and the location is great and very central.

Very Good but a few Disappontments.
Having been to other Ritz Carlton hotels we were expecting a high standard. This was a City break of a few days for us to see the Christmas Markets and the sights of Vienna. Our first impression of the hotel was very good; the front of house staff could not do enough for you, all speaking impeccable English. The Consiege was fantastic and very helpful. However, there were some things we found a little strange and surprised us which is why I have down rated my review to 4*. Firstly, when we checked in (on a Wednesday) we decided to have some lunch in the restaurant. The service was slow, there seemed to be a lot of Management hanging around but very few people serving customers. On the Saturday morning for breakfast, those serving were rushed off their feet due to more people staying in the hotel, again not enough people serving customers! The standard room was large, very clean with a lovely en-suite but while the room had tea and coffee making facilities, we were expecting pots of milk but no, none was provided and we were brought a jug of milk several times which we kept in the mini bar. Also, in flicking through the channels on the TV, we could not find any English speaking ones apart from Sky News and BBC World Service. Any English or American programmes had been dubbed in German! Is this due to Brexit I asked myself! I did use the pool in the basement one evening which was a joy! Altogether a very enjoyable stay as the hotel was very central to most city sights but with a few things that they could do better!

Excellent service
The hotel is very well located, close to many things by walking distance, the two restaurants are very good and the bar is nice as well, with many cocktails on the menu.
The room was very spacious and very clean, with a full mini bar, and chocolates in the morning.
The service is amazing, everybody is very caring and helpful at any time, we really enjoyed our stay!!!
Thanks you very much again, we hope to come back soon.

Very good Hotel for exploring Vienna
The Ritz is very well located and offers great service. Check in was smooth and quick, the check in staff was very helpful. The room assigned was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious as well with walk in shower and bath tub facilities. The shower was very good and amenities provided were of good quality. Throughout the stay the room and bathroom was kept very clean and tidy.
Sleep quality was good, our room was facing the courtyard so it is was very quiet.
Wifi worked very well.
Breakfast at the hotel which took place at the steakhouse was good too. Lots of options to meet dietary requirements and the staff there were pleasant and happy to assist.

Club Lounge make it very special
We spent a couple of nights in Ritz Carlton Vienna, and got rooms with access to the club lounge. Definitely a good decision. The rooms are good sized (= large), and have a very nice bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate shower. The beds are comfortable and the room quiet.

What made our stay really special was the access to the club lounge. You feel very welcome from the beginning, getting an individualized check-in, until check-out in the lounge. The lounge offers complimentary drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolage, soft drinks, juices, separate wines, a full bar, champagne, …), a breakfast buffet, a light lunch, Apfelstrudel in the afternoon, and appetizers in the evening. Nice and spacious, never crowded and always with very attentive employees. - Einjoy!

Exceptional service, location, and rooms
My family stayed at the Ritz in Vienna for several days. It is in a very convenient location, as it is walking distance from many of the city’s main attractions. The rooms were beautiful and the service was phenomenal. The staff was so kind and accommodating, especially Ahab, who was thoughtful enough to give us personal recommendations on his favorite locations in the city. He greeted us each morning, always taking the time to make us feel comfortable and welcome, despite having many guests to attend to at once. Overall, I would highly recommend the Ritz for its exceptional rooms, perfect location, and staff that went above and beyond in all aspects of service!

The hotel is beautifully designed , great location and superior service. For shoppers it is located 10 minutes by foot from the heart of the Golden Zone and St. Stephens Platz. Easy walk to Bevedere as well. We had great service in the Club Level and the team there was wonderful, sadly I cannot recall their names. Bedding was very comfortable and the water pressure was so strong!

As a hotel GM myself, it was hard to find anything to find wrong, because I always do, but not here. Cannot wait to return to Vienna and the Ritz-Carlton

Gerne wieder

This was the third or the fourth time I stayed at The Ritz Carlton Vienna and the experiences go better and better. There is one thing that I really appreciate about this property and that I find very unique across RC hotels: the check-in experience. You must try it out by yourself. The classic buildings that give life to hotel are beautifully renovated and have the RC touch that everyone loves. This time, we had the chance to stay at a suite with balcony and great views, which was very unique! Also, the breakfast at Panorama was an incredible experience. Even though Vienna has many options for breakfast/brunch, every guest staying at the RC should try the Panorama at least once. I will surely come back soon and I simply cannot wait! Thank you very much to everyone, specially…

Long weekend
Everything about my stay at this hotel was first class. The location was ideal for exploring the city. The room was fabulous and the restaurants so good we ate there several nights. Every member of staff was polite, friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely return and couldn’t recommend it more highly

Best Customer Service Ever
We were in Vienna for 6 nights and stayed at this Luxury Hotel. The location was absolutely perfect for walking the entire city. The room was big and clean with everything you could hope for. Plenty of water available and chocolates at night. The staff! --they were unbelievable. They anticipated what we needed and went out of their way to accommodate us. We took a weekend to go to Prague and they held our luggage (free of charge) until we returned to find them already back in our room. The restaurants were and wait staff were perfect...and a must stop for some Mozart Chocolate Liquor at the D-BAR. Simple WUNDERBAR!

A beautiful hotel, with wonderful staff in a very good location.
Liked - A beautiful hotel, with wonderful staff in a very good location. My room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was included and was delicious. The concierge made an excellent dinner reservation for me and helped me get my covid test for returning home. I look forward to staying at the Ritz Carlton Vienna again in the future.

Great hotel to stay at, close to all the attractions (expensive, not best choice value for money)
Liked:
* The staff were super nice and always ready to help
* Great location near all the attractions
* Nice small warmed indoor pool
Disliked:
* Room has no view at all
* There were no available slots at the spa for a massage
* the bed was made of two single beds joined together
* Wet sauna wasn't working
* Bathroom faucets were loose (low maintenance)
* Breakfast menu was very small and limited (not worth it)
