Smy Lisboa

The staff were so helpful. Breakfast was very good.  It was my friend's birthday and we were brought champagne and pastries that evening which was so thoughful and totally unexpected. It is situated in a perfect position for access to many City sites and historic buildings and streets. Easy access also to Metro to and from airport. Would thoroughly recommend.

Not great. Both lifts currently out with no explanation; I’m on the 2nd floor so that’s fine, but not if you’re on the 8th. Rooftop bar closed until spring; it’s now early summer and it was shut without explanation.
Restaurant; fully booked apparently, despite me seeing tables which could have been laid; no willingness to help.
I rang the next door hotel (Lux Lisboa hotel)to enquire about dinner but they didn’t answer; however they actually called me back and said they welcome me to eat there..which I did. A nicer hotel by all accounts.
I then returned to SMY hotel for a nightcap; no service at the bar, people waiting. I resorted to phoning the hotel to get some sort of response..and then finally the barman arrived and patronised me.
I get there’s a pandemic, staff illness etc but it’s no excuse for this.

It was ok. Beds were nice, coffee powder & tea available in the room. Bathroom needs some adjustment. It was a swimming pool after we where finished. This gives a bad smell to the room! If it’s fixed then I would give it 5 stars.

The hotel is very clean! the team are super nice and very smiling! not expensive, the breakfast at the top! The bed is comfortable. Highly recommend !! we had a very good stay! thanks to the team.
