Grand Hotel Casselbergh

This was our third stay, just keeps getting better. Rooms are large with beautiful bathrooms and good facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant are amazing with fantastic choice of breakfast. Reception gave us a little box of chocolates and a card to welcome us back, nice touch. Hotel right by the berg square best location for everywhere. Going back to stay there next year.

This hotel rules! We stayed for 3 nights and everything was perfect from the second that we checked in. The woman who helped us has a name that starts with an S but I can't remember it, but she was sweet and friendly and gave us all of the info (and bathrobes) that we needed for our stay.  The rooms are not huge but not small for Europe, either. They're very cozy and the water pressure in the shower and bath were worth telling your friends about! That is rare in most hotels. The location was perfect; everything there is to do or see is easily and safely walkable. Even the hostesses at the breakfast buffet were amazingly nice, allowing me to take food back to our room (COVID is still a thing), even providing a tray to carry everything on. The bartenders were also friendly and jokey, which always make me feel at home. I don't think I have one complaint; a first for me. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone!! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and easy! I almost forgot to mention that the beds are soooooo comfy!! They had two different kinds of pillows that were perfect for me and hubby, since we've got very different and specific likes in our pillows. We slept very well!

Nice hôtel. Really well located and really nice style/bar/staff. Price in my opinion was a bit too expensive but due to the long weekend. Some improvement points I suggest: Free water must be given each day especially in this type of hotel. A room service/place to have dinner should be existing. The fact that you need to ask the staff to turn on sauna and hammam is not convenient. Cause you need to wait for 20 minutes before it gets warm. Gym is not a gym. You have 4 machines. It would have been great to have a good one or a swimming pool. Overall, good hotel, good experience but nobody is perfect.

Our stay couldn't have been better. Had a beautiful room overlooking Hoogstraat, immensely comfortable and well appointed. Greeted us with kindness and with helpful advice, and provided us with everything we needed.
