Hotel Quinta das Lágrimas

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are decent and the price was fair. What shines here is the history of the place, the old part of the hotel, library and of course the gardens and their history. On the downside, the spa didn’t really impress.

The staff is extremely helpful, and they go above & beyond to make guests feel at home & pampered. The grounds are truly a romantic botanical garden, and the hotel itself is full of old world charm. We are already planning our return stay!

Heavenly vegan dinner. We contacted them ahead to confirm we were vegan and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It was probably the best Vegan meal we have had ever. The Palace is gorgeous, the service is incredible and the food outstanding!

The only reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is because 10 isn't available! Do yourself a favor and book at least one night at this incredible property while in Portugal! A perfect pit stop on the drive from Lisbon to Porto. I highly recommend the message treatment in the spa and dinner at the farm inspired Arcadas for an epic and artistic meal you'll never forget!
