Christmas StayWe spent December 24th-26th here and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The staff was so welcoming, warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make you feel more at home. I cannot wait to go back! The hotel is located in the most perfect part of Amsterdam, too! You can walk anywhere! The rooms are spotless and so, so comfy! You truly feel as though you’re at home

Excellent- Thoroughly RecommendedRoom excellent- service excellent. Had difficulty arriving due to traffic but this hotel is well worth a little inconvenience. The trip to the airport was quite the reverse. The A La Carte breakfast is the go. A few lovely bars and helpful staff. However if you step outside watch for the wretched cyclists coming from every direction!
If I have one gripe it would be that when we went to the breakfast bar the first morning one part of the cold ham had a distinctly "off" smell, We advised the waitress and she said she would let the chef know. It was still there when we left.

Great stayI really had a very good stay again at De L’Europe for New Year’s Eve! Every time it becomes even better. Thanks a lot to Mrs Graetz who really met and surpassed our expectations giving us the perfect Suite and also a big bravo to Hoofstad Brasserie that for dinner was a delicious surprise. We’ll be back

The Best Place to Stay in AmsterdamWe arrived on Christmas morning at 8:00am and we felt like we just came home...the welcome was so warm and accommodating that it felt like we arrived at our own home. Great rooms, attentive staff! Stay here

A splurge before returning homeAfter a holiday visit to the family, with an early flight to catch out of Schipol, decided to book a night at the De L’Europe, which I have to say is my all time favorite hotel anywhere. Have been staying here since 1986, and have never once been disappointed. This time had a lovely canal side room that I really didn’t want to leave. But did take time to do some shopping and sample the smoked salmon in Freddys Bar. I was greeted and welcomed back like and old friend, and cannot wait until my next visit here. There really is no other place to stay in Amsterdam, so do yourself a big favor and indulge in the L’Europe

EcellenceWe stay over this weekend and loved every minutes of it.
Desiree made it a million time better.
Love the food, champagne at the bar is a must over looking the canal.
Freddy’s is also a must try and if you stay another night, try the Michelin star restaurant.
The gym is nice and clean and the sauna the same
Can’t wait to get back.

5 star service!!Wanted to surprise my good friend with a special lunch and booked a canal view table at the Promenade. We were hosted and pampered by Karim who made us feel very special during our stay. The food was delicious and the Pouilly-Fumé was just amazing and really complimented the food we got. Thank you for great service Karim and chef(s)!!

We sliepen in een speciale kamer, de Bowmore | Aston Martin suite. Wat een heerlijke warme en luxe stijl! De Whisky stond klaar! Het uitzicht is een droom, de Amstel. De bedden sliepen verrukkelijk, mee naar huis genomen. Bleek van het merk Cocomat te zijn dus we hadden het ook gewoon kunnen kopen.We hebben werkelijk heerlijk op de kamer gegeten en ontbeten.
De badkamer en heeft een zeer ruime aparte douche. Het hotel bleek vorig jaar een upgrade te hebben gehad. De ruimtes bij de lobby zijn spectaculair gezellig geworden! Hulde!

My stay at L,Europe was so very wonderful.The personal welcome I received was fantastic. I can honestly say the management and staff were very friendly, obliging and so polite . Such a pleasure, no request was any trouble.

The hotel is very impressive, old worldly, beautiful decor. Everywhere you look, the artwork,the furnishings, the details are just beautiful, but it’s also a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to be in .
I had a suite ,super Fab .Each time I returned to my suite,, there was some extra surprise that made me smile .
My Family arranged a surprise birthday party for me
The reception and dinner ,, well very special beautiful flowers, delicious cuisine and great wines.
I did not want to leave
If you manage to make it to the Hotel L,Europe, you will not be disappointed

Absolutely amazing. This is one of the best hotels I have even stayed in everything about the hotel was just perfect. I came here with my family and booked a separate room for my two children and was worried about the windows and the safety. I talked to the staff and within minutes they installed new safety knobs and gave me the key. The rooms are newly renovated and done in a way that is just perfect minor detail in this hotel was extremely thought of and things are very detail oriented in here from the amazing toiletries to the way they organize my charger wire every night to make sure the room just feels amazing. The staff were super friendly they really did make us feel like we were the only ones in the hotel. The location is amazing. Every corner of this hotel is just fabulous. This is my first time in Amsterdam and definitely not the last. I will make sure to stay at the same hotel every time I visit. The most beautiful hotel we have stayed in so far with a perfect central location to explore Amsterdam. The room was exceptional. The spa was divine. The staff were so helpful, friendly and helpful with a special mention to Mohamed our concierge who showed us to our room and brought us our luggage, he is a real credit to this establishment. My husband and I spent the first few nights of our Amsterdam honeymoon in this hotel, we were greeted with wonderful concierge staff and enjoyed a lovely room!
