Location in general: I had no issues with the location. But some people might think it was a more sketchy area.
Staff: Great. Spoke English and were really helpful. Scheduled us taxis when needed and gave us information that we needed to navigate the area

An excellent choice for visiting Athens
If you are coming to Athens and want location, Polis Grand is fantastic. We walked to the Acropolis, to the changing of the guards, to dinners, all very accessible and easy to reach. The hotel itself is better than we expected, very clean, staff extremely helpful (24 hour reception), on site rooftop hotel (with view of the Acropolis), and a really wonderful breakfest. Great hot and cold selections, vegetarian options and lots to choose from. Definitely a hotel to consider in the mid range tier.

Liked • Loved our stay. Amazing breakfast. Loved the roof top bar. Bed was out of this world! Quick walk to acropolis and bars and cafes. Love love love this place and will definitely be back!
Disliked • The size of bathroom but it was fine for short stay.

Liked • Breakfast, the room, the staff, the location is close to the city center. Bed was really comfortable, and there was daily room cleaning by the staff.
Disliked • Small elevators. There were mosquitoes in the room when we arrived even though the windows were closed.
