Scandic Kaisaniemi

Great location and connectivity is definitely a plus for this property. The common areas and furniture looks quite dated and is in need of a makeover. However the rooms are newly renovated I believe. Quite spacious and great street view. The breakfast spread was lovely too.
The person at the reception was friendly and helpful.

Great location, very close to central train station. Tram station just right in front of the hotel.
Reasonable price. Room with everything, spacious and clean.

This is a perfectly situated hotel in Helsinki with friendly staff on the front desk. A stone's throw from the station where the airport trains go from, and the rest of the city is walkable and close by. The left luggage room on our departure day was very useful. We took the family room with 3 adults and 2 kids and it was extremely spacious. All 3 beds were very comfortable. It was quiet and though we didn't use it, the men's and women's sauna would have been good to have used at the appointed times. The included breakfast buffet 7-10am was SPECTACULAR. Masses of excellent and healthy good. There was TV on as well and we got to watch Finland win the men's ice hockey gold in the winter Olympics beating Russia.
