Woodlands Hotel & Leisure Centre

We brought a special friend here for her birthday. The staff went over and beyond to make her birthday extra special. Rooms were very clean and nice and roomy. Bar food lovely. Will return again. Thanks so much.

I stayed at the Woodlands in Waterford for the weekend. It is a beautiful hotel but when you're there for an entire weekend, you quickly run out of stuff to do, trust me. The Woodlands is small compared to other hotels with only a lobby that has three available areas, also two upper floors for rooms. Still do not let me put anyone else it is a beautiful hotel I just prefer to go on holiday where you don't really stay in the hotel.

We stayed there for 1 night & I'm only sorry that it wasn't for longer. Every member of staff we met were fantastic & all covid precautions were in place. The food & drinks we had were excellent & very good value. We also had great use of the pool which was spotless.

The staff need some guidance in some areas,a very young staff that just maybe do not have the experience ,dinners were good,but breakfast was atrocious, maybe the worse breakfast i ever had out. also beer in the bar was warm, again i think just lack of experience from the staff was or is the issue there,so for me would be unfair to slate the hotel,i think with some guidance to the staff the hotel would have no issues,but please get that breakfast sorted,sausaged were dreadful,the pudding was sour,the eggs were shocking and the bread was cremated and just cheap.
