Clean, comfortable, location excellent, good staff, great food, rooms too hot.
With one exception this place has everything you need. It's walking distance to most things a tourist in Stockholm wants and they will order you a cab for other places that costs much less than the ones you might get in front of museums as I found out. The restaurant is wonderful. The staff really tried hard to address the one issue and finally did - for some odd reason the thermostat can't be turned down below 20 Celsius which is much too hot for sleeping. They did eventually find the special key so we could open the window. This was January and all of Stockholm seems to overheat their inside spaces. The beds are great and the bathroom has a heated floor. They just should fix that thermostat issue but I would highly recommend it. Try the eggs royal - the breakfast is amazing and the dinner we had there also very very good.

Great Stay
We loved staying here. First the location is perfect. You are close to so many places - we walked everywhere - even on the days it snowed.

The quality of the renovation is top class. The room was beautiful spacious & comfortable. Not all hotels are interested in you being comfortable in the hours you spend in the room. Someone had given this some thought.

The bathroom & shower are excellent.

Housekeeping was impeccable.

Food in Bonnie's for both dinner & breakfast was fabulous.

But the staff made the stay. They were universally warm & helpful. Reception - bar staff & Bonnies.

One small negative - Saturday night one of the bars or a function room was noisy. On the 3rd floor it was just noticeable to me - I'm a light sleeper. My husband was not disturbed for a second. If you're a light sleeper & you are there on a Saturday night pack your ear plugs. Other wise it was so quiet I couldn't tell you how busy the hotel was.

Please don't let that put you off though - it's a great hotel - we loved it & we are thinking about how to go back before the summer !

Stunning hotel with the best breakfast I’ve ever had!
Beautiful interior, excellent location and great service. All boxes ticked for a top notch hotel.
In addition the made to order breakfast is the best I’ve ever had - no competition.

Room wise the beds are amazingly comfortable, all accessories are present and the bathroom really classy.

If I search for scraps of pointers, it would be that the room we had (elegant double) was quite small. But that’s normal European standard.

Two big fat thumbs up!

Fantastic in every way
From the moment we arrived at Bank Hotel we were made to feel very welcome and at ease. Every member of staff we had the pleasure of meeting were courteous and friendly.
Must say a special thank you to Kurt the bar manager who looked after us exceptionally well and was a real star.
the hotel is excellently located to everything that you could wish for in Stockholm. We were only here for the weekend but will be coming back for sure.
The bars and restaurant are beautifully appointed and service was fantastic. Food and drinks were brilliant too.
The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and ideal for our needs.
It is within walking distance to most things (including central station).
Can not recommend highly enough. We will be back.

Awesome!!
This is a very luxurious hotel with terrific location in the city center; close to everything almost!
The staff were very serviceminded and friendly and the rooms are very nice maybe not so big, but absolutely big enough! Comfortable beds and you have everything you need for a pleasant stay!
The restaurant is very good; good food, good service! One of the best thing with this hotel is the breakfast; it is excellent! It is well worth every crown!! So this is something you absolutely must include when you stay at this hotel!
I can definitely recommend this 5-star hotel for a successful stay in Stockholm!!

Top notch hotel, will definitely come back!
Recently stayed at the Bank Hotel for 4 nights. There was a recent Boxing Day sale and we booked the Window Suite. It was absolutely massive and elegantly furnished. The same can be said about the entire hotel. The place exudes elegance.

The staff is also amazing and always accommodating. They remind me of Singapore Airlines crew which is high praise indeed.

They have a good breakfast spread as well and nice cocktail bar.

Long story short, this hotel is top notch and I’m more than happy to recommend this hotel to my friends when they travel to Stockholm.

First Class from the First Moment
I travel a lot, and have the pleasure of staying in some pretty wonderful hotels, some damn mediocre ones, and on the odd occasion, a few shockers.

This is my first visit to Stockholm, which is a beautiful city, one which I fully intend to explore further, another time.

For some reason, I decided to cancel the faceless, big brand hotel I was booked into, to stay here at Bank. Let me tell ya, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.

From the moment you open the rather imposing doors, and walk into reception, you know you’ve stumbled across something really rather special.

Alyssa on the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms are fantastic, as are the bars and restaurant. All the staff are fantastic, professional and friendly.

I will becoming back to Stockholm, when it’s a little warmer and will absolutely be staying at Bank. This place is a real treasure, no pun intended.

I genuinely mean it, staying at Bank will be one of the major compelling reasons for me coming back to this wonderful city.

Probably the best in Stockholm
Having stayed at many Stockholm hotels, my perspective is broad and Bank Hotel is my favorite. It's beautifully decorated and lobby makes you cheerful upon entry. The bar and the restaurant is beautifully designed and has a vibrant feeling. The professional staff is focused on catering to your every need. They are prompt and responsive. From check in to check out they were exceptional. My suite was so incredibly spacious and the bed was comfortable that I slept very well during my stay . The bathroom was amazing with a very large bathtub and rainfall shower. Housekeeping was so attentive also. I will come back!

Bokade Bank torsdag-söndag . Kom upp sent men kunde ändå äta middag i Bonnies restaurang.

We booked this visit as a weekend getaway (!) in our hometown, Stockholm. We wanted some luxury, a new experience, and the art-deco experience that I had spotted in Bank Hotel from passing by a few times. we decided to go all-in and booked a room, went to le Hibou, the delightfully cozy roof-top bar, and to the restaurant, Bonnie’s.

Le Hibou was great. We would definitely want to take some friends with us next time. Comfy, cozy, intimate without being crowded or overly noisy.

From looking at the menu online for Bonnie’s, I wasn’t convinced at first. But an 85 page wine list kind of tells you that there is something special to be experienced. And rightly so. Our food, a sea bass, was cooked to perfection. Crispy skin, a thin cover of a slightly spicy paste that just added a dimension without stealing the attention from the fish. Best I ever had. And our wine was perfect too. Breakfast was really good.

Staff were great all along and were very attentive. I had let them know beforehand about my allergy and great care was shown to make me feel safe by telling me if there was something that I should stay clear from or could not be modified.

The room - Graceful Design Deluxe - was really cozy and smart. We watched films projected to the TV from our own devices via the chromecast - this was not so smooth for us, since we have no experience from doing this before. Some apps seemed to refuse. At home we do it all the time, but not via Chromecast. Maybe a little more instructions or links to instructions would be handy… but that is really our only suggestion for improvement.

We were very satisfied with our overall experience and felt happy about doing it. We would certainly recommend it. And we would recommend anyone wanting a somewhat intimate and cozy experience and interesting, new drinks in a bar to go to le Hibou. As for Bonnie’s, we fell in love with the design. A large room, not too noisy, and so nicely art deco

The hotel is beautiful, safe and walking distance to attractions. Central station is about 5 minutes of a drive, and there is a train stop about a minute walk from the hotel. Gamla Stan is about a 7- 10 min walk. Property is clean, tastefully constructed. Beds/sofas were comfy, shower was perfect. Whoever owns this hotel is truly Blessed to have such amazing staff working for him or her. From front desk to housekeeping to dining, staff were very helpful, kind and professional. Front desk personnel: Ema, Mi, Ceclia (and the young man who checked me in on the afternoon of January 19th and the young man who checked me in on the 22nd both were so amazing, the latter giving me a beautiful surprise of an upgrade and had my luggage transferred to my room as well- apologies, I don't recall their names). Any time I had questions or concerns, all the front desk staff were ready to help and always came through. Ema was even willing to come to the train station with me since I was worried to catch the train at 4:30 am. The front desk and dining crew packed a to-go breakfast for me since my flight was so early morning. Restaurant crew: the young man who was hosting every morning at breakfast during my stay from January 19th- 23rd was literally an angel. He was so incredibly professional (so sorry I don't know his name) but he always made me feel so very special when I walked in for breakfast, Munir (waiter) and host Muhammad were great. I feel like they're all my family now. Bank hotel, you have a lifelong customer :)

Wonderful hotel in a great location, stylish but unfussy and the staff were super friendly.
The food is great, either the breakfast which is hard to stop eating and also dinner in the evening was first class. If you want a top end experience in the heart of Stockholm then I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Stayed in the Heritage Suite, spacious room, beautifully decorated
The windows faced inwards towards the hotels restaurant which closed at 2300 but was noisy up until some time after midnight.
The noise wasn't as bad in the bedroom, but the sound of moving around furniture bothered us well until after 0200 which was a shame since we choose that suite because it said that it was good for peace and quiet
During our stay, we realized that some friends of our were staying there as well, they did not have a Suite, just a regular room, costing a fraction of the price of our suite, it had no issues with noise. So I guess the moral of this story is to go for a cheaper room if you want to get some sleep.
Now to the bed:
It was much to soft, the pillows weren't nice, the sheets and pillow cases felt like something from the IKEA cheap line. Coarse and just not what I was expecting from a 5 star hotel suite.
My back hurts from tossing and turning all night due to constant noise and uncomfortable bed. But it's a matter of taste to some extent, I simply dislike soft beds.
Unfortunately the experience of the bedroom was even more of a disappointed when we discovered some old snot paper on one of the night stands, rather disgusting, especially in covid-times.
We ordered room service, a simple Pasta Arrabiata, 225 SEK, it was a real disappointment.
Super small portion, the pasta was not done (I appreciate al dente pasta, but this was just undercooked).
It had no taste.
Still being hungry after the baby sized portion of pasta, I ordered some fries
They arrived completely unsalted, with 3 bowls of ketchup, aioli that tasted sour and no salt.
The fries were cold, stale, tasted of old frying oil and even Burger King would be ashamed to serve them.
The portion was enormous, but even though I was starving I couldn't eat more than a sixth of it.
Felt super disappointed, tried calling the front desk for a good 15 minutes but the line was busy.
I would have wished for better service, better food, a comfortable bed or at least noise free sleeping environment.
I did not have a good stay, I came home feeling worn out, exhausted, hungry and sad about wasting my money and my time at the Bank Hotel.
Some additional notes:
The room was beautiful, the decoration exquisite.
The TV had only built-in speakers with horrible sound.
The electrical socket in the bathroom was loose and crooked.
Non accessible entrance, had to carry my stroller with baby in it up a great amount of steps in the entrance, not wheelchair friendly.
Spacious elevators
Friendly breakfast staff and good food.
