Citybox Antwerp

The rooms were in impeccable condition. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. We were blown away by the view and the size of the rooms for the price that we paid. 100% recommended, and was recommended to the rest of the family and friends. We were also able to leave our luggage in the hotel for the day while we went out into the city, which is a plus.

Perfect for a weekend in Antwerp. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are minimalist but clean and comfortable. We were only using the room to sleep as we were out a lot. The self service check-in and check-out was easy. However there was always someone on hand to help in the office. We were only there three nights so we didn't mind that the room wasn't serviced. The price per night was very reasonable. Around a 10/15 minute walk into the centre, 5 minutes to the train station.

Modern design and a self check-in counter. Beautiful rooms. However, our blankets and pillows were not fresh. A lot of spots on some facilities. Otherwise it's good for a night or two, a bit nasty though for longer stays. But we didn't expect more from the price we paid (cheap).

Very basic, clean and modern hotel with minimal services and amenities. No TV in the room, no fridge, no water boiler (the later is located at the common kitchenette at ground level together with a microwave, recycled cutlery and plates as well as a vending machine for snacks and hot drinks) and no daily cleaning. There was no clear indication on the lack of TV, etc at booking stage. Only one staff on duty for the guests and running of the hotel + one manager. There is a number you can call if the person on duty isn't available right away. Staff is very friendly. Room design is very sleek and contemporary in design. Room and bathroom were very large and felt empty. Bad sewer smell at the second floor that persisted throughout our stay, we were in room 212. Nice hang out area with ping pong table, breakfast stall was well managed and with plenty of choices. There's a Carrefour City shop and a bakery just around the corner. Walking distance from the train station and the tramway. Very well located, walking distance from the main shopping street, to the cathedral, etc. Not much information about what to do in Antwerp except a city guide. Very fast and intuitive check-in and check-out on a tactile screen. There is a storage room you can use as well.
