Leonardo Hotel Vienna

Excellent value and location.
Just back from 4 nights in twin bed comfort room. Got an excellent rate by booking directly with hotel. I didn't get breakfast in the hotel because there are plenty of options outside. The location of the hotel is not in the centre but is at the ubahn station which brings you to the centre in minutes. The station is in a mall with plenty of shops and food outlets. Just around the corner from the hotel is the biggest shopping street in Vienna, Mariahilferstrasse. So you are spoilt for choice. The room itself was not big but fine for 2, the bathroom had a frosted glass door as mentioned in other reviews and was small but I found no issue with it and the shower was very good. There was a kettle and tea, coffee provided and proper full sized mugs! There was a fridge which was great.

We enjoyed the holidays and could rest well enough.
Liked - The location of the hotel was the best I would say. The bed and the pillows were comfortable to get a good night of sleep after walking more than 20km per day. The receptionist was nice and helpful when we needed him.
Disliked - The breakfast was greatly overvalued, 15€ per person per day but you can find it a lot better in Vienna for that price. Any brunch place will serve you better. Also the staff at the restaurant didn't speak any english (or not to a point we could understand properly) or they pretended not too (they weren't the the happiest people on hearth). When my mother tried to ask them for some oat or soya milk they just served it cold and kept repeating the microwave was broken (quite rudely). Mention that the second day they did warm it up when we asked. Have to say that breakfast at the hotel is almost my mom's favourite moment of any trip.
The door of the bathroom was broken an it was really difficult to close. The TV was not properly set and we could watch the only international spanish channel (my mother wanted to see the news on night). The wifi was not the best.

Liked - The hotel has great location, and Maria Hilfen Street is very lively throughout the week, day and night (no noise in the room). We were able to find parking space (short term) on the streets around the hotel.
On the 4th floor we had great views.
This is a very large hotel, but it has 3 elevators.
The room had everything we need, we appreciated the kattle. Bed was super comfortable. It had good size bathroom with all the amenities.
The reception staff was kind and very efficient.
Disliked - The room could be a bit bigger for two persons, or less cluttered with chairs. We would appreciate a bit more storage.
Cleaning staff could be better organized, one of them barged in our room very early in the morning.
Overall it was excellent value for money.

Disliked - After the check in, when we get in the room, window was left open and room was really cold, it didn’t get warm whole day.
In the morning, I woke up by the room service (around 8-9 am), they knocked our door and asked to fix the room.
We had 2 rooms, for the second room, my parents said, room service didn’t even knocked the door, they just open the door and entered.
