We had a lovely stay with them. The staff is very helpful. My car had dead battery and got a battery boost right away. They let use staff laundry to get our laundry done. Great breakfast buffet. Authentic Norwegian food in dinner menu. Highly recommended for great Norwegian experience.

The Hotel is located in the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking views or Norway and, if you're lucky enough, to view the northern lights. The rooms are spaceous, clean, modern, very sound proof and have a small terrasse / balcony with (or without) a view over the adjacent landscape. The only thing missing from the rooms (for me personally) is a safe to put valuables in. The staff is very friendly and will help you with any question you have. The food was very good although expensive (compared to more southern countries the scandinavian countries are more expensive but that's something we knew beforehand so it wasn't a surprise). If you have a special wish (like have a starter served in a main course portion) then the staff will try to accomodate that. There's many activities that can be done in the hotel. It offers a sauna, a bath house, conference rooms, a fitness area and you can even book your own sea house to live in. All in all a very nice experience and I'll come back when I have the chance.

Amazing Norway area with beaches, fjord entries, nice water side apartments with an incredible view. Nice place to experience the northern lights from the balcony.

Stayed in this hotel for our honeymoon for two nights. Location is wonderful and nature around something magical. The hotel itself definitely not 4 stars. Rooms ok, in bathroom only soap (no shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc.). Level of cleaning low for example toilet brush was all brown and disgusting. Also cleaning staff left their cleaning cloths and spray in our room after cleaning. Breakfast nothing special. Sauna in very bad condition. Service very low quality. When asked for napkins in the breakfast answer was ok, but they didn't bring them to us. Our room cards stopped working after first night. The stuff didn't even apologize for it. Also when returned cleaning staffs forgotten equipment they made a joke about us cleaning but didn't apologize. Overall wouldn't recommend anyone staying here but one day trip to the island is a wonderful idea.
