Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West

Was my 2nd time by Park Inn and I'm still amused with the ambiance of the rooms and the hotel itself. Super friendly and helpful staff. We asked for bathrobes and 5 minutes later were in the room. The breakfast never disappoint. Buffet.. you have all kinds of breakfast included vegetarian options. Super good quality price ratio. Far from the city if you walk but you can always pick the train. A must stay if you visit Amsterdam.

This hotel was booked because of the amazing exterior look. It truly is amazing to look at on the outside, especially at night.
We checked in late at night, and emailed beforehand to let them know to expect us after midnight. When we got there and checked in, there were a few issues with the room that we were given - but the staff were quick to apologise and sort it out for us, so we were very happy for that! When we needed to check-out, they stored our luggage for free so that we didn't have to carry it around while we still explored a bit more of Amsterdam.
I have read a few comments on the cleanliness of this hotel, but apart from a few stains on walls and the carpet, I wouldn't say that it was unclean, or even that it impacted our stay negatively at all.
We chose the breakfast option with our stay and we are very happy that we did. The breakfast had a good selection: continental, pastry, cereal, fruit, pancakes. Definitely something for everyone.
The hotel being right next to the train station, was great for travelling into the city. However, coming back at night took AGES because of night trams and buses not running to the hotel. So we did have to catch an uber back at night. If the hotel was a little closer to the city centre, we would not hesitate to book again!

We quite liked this hotel, it was hip and the rooms were clean, and big enough for the two of us.
For 2.50 euro for a single trip you easily take the train to Amsterdam Central.
We booked via SocialDeal, and the included diner was a bit chaotic.
The breakfast made up for that, which had a lot of options.
We would come back again.

Impressive view from outside, reception friendly and good location. The only thing was, the room was filthy. The carpets had brown stains all over them and shower had hair all over it. Decor is old and dated with furniture that had chunks missing from it. Don’t think I would stop here again due to the cleanliness. Its a real shame about this place as it has lots of potential, especially being associated with the Radisson name.
