Stayed for a night. The staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. One woman even helped us figure out the best way to get to the airport and printed out a transportation schedule for us. The hotel is in a great location and was quiet at night. Room was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again next time we visit Venice.

It's a nice, small hotel with a very good location to explore the city of Venice, just mere minutes to the iconic San Marco square and the Rialto Bridge. The staff was very friendly and everyone at the reception spoke fluent English. They helped me with my luggage when I arrived, carrying it up the two flights of stairs as there is no lift. During the night it was very calm in spite of its central location, so no trouble getting a nice rest after sightseeing. The double room is spacious enough with a nice ensuite bathroom with shower. A/C and free WiFi worked OK. The furniture is a bit old although it is in good condition. The lack of an electric kettle and minibar is really a pitty. You have to leave your room key at the reception everytime you go out. I didn't pay for the breakfast so can't comment on that. Overall a nice, basic hotel to stay in when visiting Venice. And good value for money if you compare it with similar options around the area.

We just stayed for one night but the service was really good. The hotel is set closed to Piazza San Marco, you can go everywhere in just 10 mins (Museo dell’Accademia and Guggenheim collection). The position is perfect. In addition rooms are clean and the staff is really kind. I would definitely recommend it!

Hotel Mercurio is in a great location if you stay in San Marco area. It’s 5 min walking to San Marco pier and st mark’s square. 8-9 min to pier Rialto and the Rialto bridge.. grand canal is also very close. The hotel was clean and decent sized room. Value for money. Breakfast was good.
