It's a nice, small hotel with a very good location to explore the city of Venice, just mere minutes to the iconic San Marco square and the Rialto Bridge. The staff was very friendly and everyone at the reception spoke fluent English. They helped me with my luggage when I arrived, carrying it up the two flights of stairs as there is no lift. During the night it was very calm in spite of its central location, so no trouble getting a nice rest after sightseeing. The double room is spacious enough with a nice ensuite bathroom with shower. A/C and free WiFi worked OK. The furniture is a bit old although it is in good condition. The lack of an electric kettle and minibar is really a pitty. You have to leave your room key at the reception everytime you go out. I didn't pay for the breakfast so can't comment on that. Overall a nice, basic hotel to stay in when visiting Venice. And good value for money if you compare it with similar options around the area.
