Hotel Beethoven Vienna

Absolute Gem. My elderly mother and I stayed at the Beethoven for four nights in April/May 2022. Our room was wonderful with very comfortable bedding. The bathroom was large and roomy. Everything was renovated and also tastefully decorated. We had air conditioning. The front desk staff were all very helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. The location of the Hotel is perfect to explore the city - about a 10 minute walk to all the main attractions in the center of town, and the Opera (which we attended to see The Marriage of Figaro). The hotel also arranged for our pick up at the airport and our drop off on our departure. I would not hesitate for one minute to stay here. I am a lifelong traveler and have been to many places, and I was truly impressed.

Superb hotel close to the centre.
What a find! Walking distance to all the city centre attractions and a perfect home from home. Great care is evident in everything from the furnishings, to the personal recommendations folder in your room and most of all in the attitude of the staff who are polite, efficient and excel at making you feel at home. A great breakfast starts your day and at the end of a full day and night sightseeing the beds are comfortable and bathrooms fitted with every convenience to make the stay a pleasure. The lounge and bar are a great place to relax and drink - especially if you sample the cocktails. Can't wait to return.

Liked - We loved everything about the Hotel Beethoven - it has a quirky style, a relaxed atmosphere and a great location with excellent restaurants, cafes, museums and galleries just a few minutes walk away. The staff, and owner, are lovely - warm, friendly and helpful and they provide an outstanding service to their guests. Breakfast is generous and delicious with a superb buffet of fresh items and cooked food to order; tea, coffee and pastries are available in the lounge during the day. The highlight of our stay was the Saturday evening chamber music concert, held in the lounge of the hotel. This was outstanding and a wonderful experience to offer guests. Can’t wait to return.

Liked · Quiet, well-appointed rooms with modern bathrooms, excellent breakfast, good location right next to the Naschmarkt, close to the metro station Karlsplatz and in reasonable walking distance to the city center, very friendly staff (especially Bram at the reception), nice bar.
Disliked · The bar is beautiful but can get a bit too crowded and noisy when they have special events with external customers.
