Check in was fast and friendly and the Superior Room was large, clean and modern (windows could be cleaned to make it even better). The hotel is better than average for sound proofing but you can still hear some noise from th corridors and rooms above bit certainly not as much as you can from the older city centre buildings. Breakfast options were average for vegans, and there was no clear labels for what was suitable for dietary allergies at the buffet which was something I'd have expected a large hotel chain such as Holiday Inn to have been doing. Caution! The lifts/elevators are chaos. Each runs on it's own system so people press all 4 buttons and you end up stopping at every floor (there are around 20 floors!) and waiting a long time for a lift/elevator during peak morning time so recommended to leave extra time for check out if you have a flight to catch.

Great hotel In Terrible area. Close to airport is the great too. The restaurant and breakfast was great, my upgraded room was nice and comfortable beds. There is a small office type plaza next door to shop or eat but only during business days other wise they are all closed. Neighborhood is all business or highway and not walkable to anything.

Giuseppe at the bar is the man! This guy is hard working and provided excellent service for a quick bite to eat. It’s people like him that made Italy such a wonderful visit for us. For the hotel, the check in process is slow. The poor reception folks are probably using computers from decades ago. Room is dated but served its purpose for a night before our flight.

Coming to the end of a very long business trip which had me in this hotel for for around 7 weeks. Cannot fault the hotel for room, amenities, staff, features and cleanliness. Hotel food and drink was reasonably priced and offered a good selection. The only criticism is that the Bar Menu is very small in terms of choice so as you can imagine, staying this long  has meant that I'd tried everything I liked several times. The restaurant and bar are fairly close to each other so I would have liked to have seen a little more choice for the bar menu. By comparison the restaurant was extensive. In the Bar - Giuseppe should especially be marked out for his friendliness, knowledge and attentiveness! A great representative and the Hotel and the Holiday Inn Brand! Once again, this is another hotel which has suspended room service and doesn't seem to in a hurry to re-instate it. Although I apologise to the hotel if this was never an offered service anyway? Rooms were modern, well appointed, clean and serviced each day to a very high standard. The only criticisms I have as follows; The desk chair drags on the laminate floor making an awful noise. I was woken a few times late at night or early in the morning by my neighbours next door or above moving this chair around the floor. How about considering putting some felt or other material on the chair legs to stop this? The other thing is that the room doors are so heavily sprung that if let go they slam....heavily. Again, it is annoying to say the least to get woken by neighbours either leaving for early flights or coming in late. I always wish Hotels would put some notices on doors asking users to be considerate to other guests and try and not let the door slam. However, you cannot legislate against ignorance and bad manners and I cannot blame the Hotel for this! Finally, in the bathroom, there is no soap dish so once you use the soap a few times, your soap is now starting to leave orange soap scum everywhere and it gets messy. For International Arrivals. Taxis from the Airport should be around Euros 25. None of the Taxis take credit cards so you will need cash. The ride should take around 15 mins depending on traffic. Outside; the hotel is located in a fairly large commercial and residential district. There are few shops and bars and an a couple of banks with ATMs. Some shops are closed (I assume Covid finished them off?) and the hours these shops and bars keep seems a bit hit and miss. You can walk downtown and the waterfront from the hotel but this will take 30-35 minutes. As I do with all my reviews since Covid came into our lives. I cannot award 5 stars to this Hotel on the basis of a non-existent or suspended room service. I find it very annoying that a lot of hotels adopted and continue to not offer this service on the basis that there is a Covid health risk. As a business user, room service is a very necessary requirement when working into the evening and it remains frustrating to have to break from work, go to the bar/restaurant and for that time not be able to have the privacy and means to be productive that a room served meal would avail you of.
