Le Meridien Vienna 5*

Not qualifying for 5 stars. Unprofessional
Spent a weekend in Vienna. Personnel is by far not as friendly and service-oriented as you can expect at a 5 star hotel. Went to the bar at 4pm, while one waiter was showing us a free table, his manager came and asked us to leave as it was too early and apparent they were still setting up. They would not even serve as a simple glass of wine. The rooms are small, bathroom small as well, badly equipped. On saturday we spent some time in our room and asked at 3pm if soneone could clean the room. When we came back that night, nothing had been done. Overall just a very disappointing and bad experience. Will for sure not be back. Were expecting a 5 star service, did not even get a 4 star one.

Perfect Hotel for a Trip to Vienna
I cannot imagine how my stay at Le Meridien Vienna could have been better. To begin with, the hotel is perfectly located in the heart of historic Vienna and lies only a short stroll away from countless beautiful sites. It is close to the Karlsplatz U1 station and a stone's throw from a tram stop. Many restaurants and shops are nearby. The building itself is gorgeous and my room, which was upgraded, was spacious and comfortable. But let me wax eloquent about the service: I arrived around 8PM and needed my suit pressed. Even though the laundry staff had finished their day, the Front Desk managed to get it pressed well before I needed it the next morning. I was very impressed and will recommend this hotel to all who travel to Vienna for business or pleasure.

Superb
Liked - Very good service from the moment we checked in right until the check out. Staff really made us feel welcome and helped with luggage and parking the car. housekeeping was discreet but very professional and friendly and flexible at the same time. Gym is a bit small but well equipped and there is also a small pool and sauna. Location could not be better
The restaurant is nice and modern.
Disliked - Shower plumbing is a bit dated, furniture in the room could be higher quality but this is really being picky.
Breakfast is OK but I would not say it is particularly good value for money.

very good location. you are next door to central attractions but at the same time not in the middle of chaos and noise. very good place to stay.
at the reception you can have free water and some snakes…. thanks for that.
we also enjoyed good bar located next door and accessible from the hotel lobby.
