The Alex Hotel Dublin

The place has a modern and upmarket feel throughout. The concierge staff were welcoming and very helpful offering advice for places to visit. Everything was spotless. The buffet breakfast was high quality with a good selection. The bed was gigantic and very comfortable. A 5 minute walk from some of the scenic areas with local bars nearby. Around 20 minutes walk through town to the Temple Street area if looking for something more lively. Would recommend if visiting for business or a family city break.

We booked in for a night for a wedding we attended. We got booked in earlier to our room which was great. The room was fabulous with the biggest bed we had ever seen and it was so comfortable and we slept well. The staff were very helpful the services were very good and professional. The only thing is the price or 215 euro for a night and this was with a discount was a little to expensive for what we got considering we were attended a wedding which was spending a lot of money on the day. Overall we were happy with our stay.

A well appointed central modern hotel.i stayed here for a wedding. Clean comfortable bedroom. Nice big shower in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. Dinner was very good but the vegetables were cold.

We spent our first night in Ireland here. Our luggage neverade our flight, it was delivered to the Alex the day after we left for the West coast. They graciously held it until our arrival back 5 days later!! Everything from our breakfasts to our after dinner drink have been wonderful... The staff, the cleanliness, the attention to detail... Amazing. We will definitely be back!
