Leonardo Boutique Hotel Krakow Old Town

Lovely little hotel! We ended up there last minute and the staff were super friendly, making sure we got the same rate as on Booking.com. The room was great and modern with free toiletries, water, coffee and tea. There was air conditioning, however it didn't cool the room enough on a hot day. Would definitely stay again though!

Paid £257 British pounds for a 4 night stay without breakfast, so roughly £64 a night. Glad I only paid for breakfast the one time on departure day because we were charged 130z! which is £30 for a mediocre breakfast buffet with the selection of 4 hot foods, and limited bakeries or fruit selection. When we did check in we went to our room only to find a huge mess, beer cans, tools, builders merchant absolutely everywhere. Went back to hotel reception to tell them so they could rectify and give us new hotel room and he said he had no idea what was going on up there fair enough. The best thing was the juice and coffee. Rooms were basic at best, house Keeping not everyday. Beds were uncomfortable with 1 flat pillow. TV channel range was broken only showing a blue screen with sound and not picture. Hotel staff got angsty when I requested more water because nothing in my room got replaced for cleaned for 2/3 days and told me to drink tap water from the bathroom, as well as toilet paper was not replenished. Although they have got a nice outside bar area which is good when it is sunny and not raining and restaurant area is clean. And the location is walking distance to most attractions, shopping centres and main square. I did expect a lot more for my money, I will not be booking again next time I visit krakow and I advise you do the same and spend time doing more research for another hotel stay that will be price friendly and offer a good service and stay!

It looks better in pictures than in reality. I was honestly frustrated with my room number… I found hair on bed sheets. Besides as you can see from hotel pictures it should be more than 2 pillows. According to hotel photos it should be six pillows instead of two…but ok, it’s not a point. Breakfast cost does not justify the meal range which is limited by bread, cold cuts and veggies. I would not recommend to book room with breakfast, it doesn’t worth it. You can have 2 meals in city center per same cost. I was not informed about check out time and it was not mentioned anywhere so I left before 10 am. Hotel stuff was polity and friendly. The girl with long dark brown hair at the reception was really nice.

There was a mismatch with our room and the booking, but the staff handled the situation very professionally and efficiently. Rooms were nice and cozy, but traffic noise in the morning can be an issue for the light sleepers. Breakfast is decent, but perhaps slightly overpriced.
