An affordable hotel sitting outside one of the most beautiful features in Venice! The staff was very nice and helpful and the venue was clean, tidy, and well decorated. It looked classic if not tacky, but that added to the charm. Our room was a small double, basic in every aspects, and whilst we did not expect to have a view of the bridge, the windows were literally facing a wall. No double glazing so we could hear outside quite well, but the alley doesn't have any restaurants or cafés. The bed was comfortable, pillows very flat, and the bathroom was very functional, albeit not looking fresh. Water pressure was good too! The let downs were probably expected for the price, but still not that enjoyable... The waste water of the bathroom gave into a sewage pipe that was open air in the middle of the bathroom. A bit unusual. The breakfast was very basic. You have to tick off a list of items what you would like and they serve it to you. All the food was average, apart from the coffee. We had a bad experience with a family that had a young child watching a loud cartoon on a tablet which was not what you want when trying to have a relaxing breakfast, half awake. The staff did nothing to improve that situation. Being able to leave your luggage on the final day is a nice plus, the iron was good and I would definitely recommend taking the ferry from the train station to the hotel: it gives great views of the city!

Amazing location just outside of The Rialto Bridge and the location alone is worth the stay at Hotel Rialto. Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice (smaller compared to American hotels, but enough space for 2 people) and breakfast was good. The highlight of our trip was the panoramic terrace offered at the hotel. It was a little bit of a maze to find, but once we did we realized it was hardly used by any other guests. We had multiple nights just sitting on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. Not sure if we'll ever make it back to Venice, but if we do we will definitely be staying here again.

I’m only giving this a hotel a 3 because our room was really hot and stuffy. We had the air conditioning on all the time but it never got any cooler. Otherwise, a very solid hotel. The location was great. Right next to the Rialto Bridge & water transportation (vaporettos, taxis, gondolas, even the airport shuttle). Also, only about a 4-5 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The service was good. The included breakfast was great & the rooftop terrace was a really great place to sit and watch the boats go by on the grand canal. If you get a room with working AC, I would definitely recommend.

Hotel location was excellent. It was a stone throw away from the Rialto Bridge which made it easily accessible. There was a shared roof top terrace which enabled us to take photos of the bridge. View from the terrace was excellent. Our room was located in the annex. There were lots of stairs to get to our room. The room was spacious. However the shower cubicle was very small and tight. No tea or coffee facilities available in the room. Unfortunately they do not provide an iron. Would recommend this hotel and would return.
