Milling Hotel Ansgar

Lovely, helpful polite staff. Comfy clean beds. Good choice at buffet breakfast. Great location for station and town. Maybe little dated but as expected in this old building. Would book again.

Very old and chubby. Very small bed, with sheets that barely reached the edges of the mattress. The bathroom was small and outdated. The shower was tiny and had a shower curtain that made it feel even smaller. It wasn't particularly clean either. The whole hotel was covered in carpet that felt old and dirty, even in the bedroom. To say something positive, the staff is friendly and breakfast is fine. Nope, never again!

A very cosy old fashioned Hotel in an excellent location right in the middle between the Train station and down town. The room was very cosy and the beds are excellent. The hotel bar is tiny but well stocked and very comfortable lounge to relax with a drink. Only drawback is that there is a very loud school right behind the hotel, so if you intend to sleep in, then you need to close the windows, who btw insulate sound very well. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Our room was decently sized. The hotel looks old but I like it. There are only a few very narrow parking spots available, and the staff couldn’t recommend us another place to park in the neighborhood. Breakfast was alright. The WiFi is there, but is unbearably slow (most websites time out), even though the hotel is at low capacity. Our door made a lot of noise every time someone in the hallway opened theirs. Overall it’s a good location, but the hotel desperately needs to get their things in order.
