Sheraton Grand Salzburg

The Sheraton Grand Hotel is probably one of the best hotels by way of service and staff of any hotel I have been to. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member my wife and I were truly treated as special guests. We had a very nice suite. The morning buffet breakfast and service at the executive lounge were excellent.  I need to give my highest regards and appreciation to Hermann Fritzenwallner the Guest Relations Manager. His warm welcome and continued gestures of kindness struck me as the best Guest Relations Manager I have ever met. I hope Marriott management recognize how valuable he is and how important his interactions with guest are. To Hermann and all the hotel wonderful staff “Thank You. By the way the hotel location is wonderful and a short distance to Old Town.

As an Ambassador you have a certain expectation of a Sheraton. The Salzburg Sheraton was awesome. Nice greeting, great upgrade, lounge being available most of the day and very professional team were all highlights. The location is excellent as you can easily walk to the railway station and also Into the old town. Well done, great room and very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent hotel that restored our faith in the Marriott world. Rooms were lovely, location is perfect, and the concierge found us the best dinner spot after we fell for one of the many Salzburg tourist traps. Staff were attentive and could not have been more helpful. Book and enjoy worry free. Also, try the pool and spa next door! Nice spa and a silly fast lazy river our son loved!

We had a terrific stay at the Sheraton Grand Salzburg. The moment we checked in, we could see that the hotel culture was truly, guest focused. Every interaction we had with the staff, they exuded a genuine warmth...from Larissa at check in, to Junior at checkout, to the charming Dragon (the bellman) from Croatia. The property is situated in a terrific location, very close to the Mirabell Gardens and adjoins a lovely park helping to create a very quiet atmosphere. The dining room has lovely greenery views of the park, terrific for starting your day while enjoying their outstanding breakfast buffet.  Great for walking the wonderful city of Salzburg. The room was spotless and expect to get a great night sleep on the outstanding mattresses. Since we were arriving late we simply had dinner at the Italian restaurant on property, Taste.It and it hit the spot after a long day of travel.
