Great experience at the Mercure Hotel in Roma - Piazza Bologna.
The website says that this a just 3 stars hotel but seems a 5 stars one. The people who works at the hotel are awesome, always kind and friendly, able to help us.
The breakfast is perfect with a great variety of food and choices.
The rooms are nice the only “BUT” is the air conditioning that maybe in summer seems that won’t be able to refresh all the room.
The hotel is based in a super cool, quiet and Kind neighborhood, far from the chaos of a big city like Roma but with all the best of the town, supermarkets, cool restaurants and shops and with a lot of busses and metro at just 3 streets that will connect you with the city center or Termini the station that connects the center with Fiumincino Airport.
That being said, the experience was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended.

Great hotel if you’re searching for a place to stay while exploring the city. The hotel is in the residential area of Rome so it’s quiet but not distant to the buzz of the city. There’s a nearby metro approx 2 mins walk that takes you the centre.
The hotel is not all that, but comfortable enough for a day’s rest needs. The service is impeccable and the receptionist (Francesco and team) are always willing to help and assist with needs. Overall, I’d stay again here is I stumble upon Rome again.
P.s if only possibly the streets surrounding the hotel can be cleaned as two huge dumpsters are just sitting around the area which is basically gross in all sense and smelly when you walk passed it.

We stayed at the Mercure Roma Piazza Bologna multiple times in a 10-day period, using it as our base to explore Italy. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to a metro station that gives you quick access to Termini but in a residential zone full of restaurants and eateries catering to locals. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable (in order of spaciousness, try the 207, followed by the 208, then the 310). The staff was great all around, especially the young ladies at the reception desk, who helped me not only when I needed to have a meeting at 3:00 AM in the morning but also with our luggage storage between stays. Breakfast was good but a tad expensive. Overall, this would be the first place I would check in my next stay in Rome.
