Giving a tiny room for 2 that had no place for a suitcase even a carry on. (See pictures) Had to upgrade a class to get a better room. The upgraded room had a connecting door to another room and you could here well from through it. Although the room and hotel were quite otherwise. The area outside was very quite, we could sleep with the window open. The privacy lock on the door was broken (see photo).
It was a busy holiday weekend and the front desk was understaffed and there was always a queue for the counter. And you could see it on the staff at the desk but they remained very nice, the same for housekeeping. We needed to ask for our room to be made up at 7pm (1900). There was a napkin and face mask on the stairs in the front staircase for the whole 5 days that we were there. Breakfast buffet was good - full English. They could have used some different kinds breads and jellies for the people in our group from Germanic regions of Europe, that don't eat hot breakfasts.
The Location was great a 4 min walk to the Kensington high street station and lots of buses or less then 15 min walk to Earls Court station. The area was quiet and clean.
Al though we left a note on the towels that they did not need to be changed they changed them.
