Austria Trend Hotel at the Theresianum

Ideal hotel in a convenient location.
We had a very pleasant stay here. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was more spacious than expected and it had a high level of cleanliness. The hotel is in a very convenient location as it is a 10 minute walk from the main train station which we arrived at from the airport. It is also a 2 minute walk from the nearest underground station which can take you all over Vienna.

A great break away - clean and friendly. This hotel offers clean, spacious and affordable accommodation. A great location to access central Vienna, using the metro station "Sudtiroler Platz" to the right of the hotel as you leave. A ticket is easily accessibly and make sure you validate them in the blue boxes in the station as you will be fined. Hotel breakfast is suitable for the day and plenty to offer. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

Liked - We had asked for a quiet room , which was honoured. We had a family room which gave us a little more space and a chair each to watch tv.
The location is great for our needs and is close to rail and U- Bahn. There are shops and several eating places in the vicinity. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are both professional and friendly.
Belvedere is a short walk away and if you like walking, it is possible to reach the main city with ease.
We have used this hotel before and certainly intend to again.
Disliked - We bought a breakfast one morning. The service was really good but the breakfast didn’t excite us.
Each time we use this hotel we feel that the rooms could benefit from a bit of colour in the decor.
Extra coffee would be good, especially as it is Julius Meinl.

Liked - Ideally situated, within easy walk of both the main station and the metro, for onward travel into the city. Near the Upper Belvedere palace and garden plus nearby restaurants, supermarkets and take-outs.
Disliked - Breakfast for two (at €28 - 2022 prices) was good with an extensive spread of hot and cold choices but you could go out to a Viennese cafe and experience the real thing for the same money or less.
