A little disappointing
Having visited some lovely hotels in Europe on our trip this was a little short of what we were hoping for. The hotel is a short walk from central station which is good and has a superb position just across the bridges from the old town but it is not an attractive hotel outside. The reception staff are great and all very friendly although surprised they booked us into room 448 which you soon realise had a service lift disguised as a room next door so all night long is a rumbling noise and doors opening and closing all night. To be fair we were moved to another similar room the next day without fuss. The room is basic but has an enormous king sized bed and a free safe and Wi-fi. You get a glass bottle of water each on first day reducing to one to share thereafter and can buy additional water from minibar at an exorbitant 40sek though! Didn’t dine at hotel as a little put off by poor reviews but lots of good restaurants nearby

An anniversary trip
We stayed here as part of a longer Scandinavian adventure for our anniversary. What a delight! Our stay was so nice, we cancelled our final location and extended our stay here to include the night of our anniversary.

The staff was incredibly nice - and helpful. The location is perfect - right across the street from the main train station and VERY centrally located to lots of places you would want to explore. If you are flying to Stockholm, there is an easy train from the airport straight to this main station.

Upon arrival we were greeted as honored guests, and pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a beautiful junior suite with a great view over the city. My luggage didn't quite make it from our previous location, and the front desk staff were wonderful in helping me locate essentials until my bag arrived. We were on the concierge floor, which was also nice for snacks, drinks, etc. The front desk staff and concierge were INCREDIBLY helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. They had wonderful ideas of individual favorite locations frequented by locals (and not published "on line" or in tourist books.)

Our room was beautiful and the staff clearly took pride in the hotel. We want to thank all of you for making our stay so special and we highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is new to Stockholm.

Great Weekend Stay
I stayed with two other families this past weekend, and it was a wonderful stay. Rooms very clean and the staff were very friendly. I loved that there were hardwood floors in the rooms as opposed to dirty carpet. Housekeeper was very friendly, left extra waters and coffee since we drank them all the first night. Hotel is in a central location and very walkable, especially to Central Station.

Good, but could be great
Stayed from 6-10 December 2018.
As with most of Stockholm, the hotel is clean, and the lobby area was large and welcoming to chill out in during the day and evening.
I paid extra for a lake view room (superior room), which was worth it for the great view in the early morning and late night mist over looking the lake and seeing Stadhuset (City Hall) in all its beauty. Room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Would prefer the option of having a firm pillow and not one that you sink in to when you lay on it (i have found this to be a common issue in a lot of hotels).
I wasn't told at check in what the check out time would be, which i researched in the room to find out, but was offered a good breakfast deal for the 4 nights i was there.
Breakfast had a good selection of the usual options in the buffet. However, there was no clear omelette station, which i would have expected from a Sheraton hotel. Only on my last day, did i see a guest speak to the chef in charge of frying eggs to request an omelette, but this was not communicated to guests from what i could see, and the options were not given to the public.
Overall, the location of this hotel is fantastic, a 5 minute walk over the bridge to Gamla Stan (old town), water taxi station, local bus/coach station, and then further on to central city. Lots to explore, so make the most of it.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful city
Excellent location.Stolkholm is a compact city and the location is ideal. One can walk to most parts of the city. old town. Great service. Excellent breakfast which is included.Very helpful staff. Nice restaurant with
interesting menu. Bar is comfortable and also serves food. Also, centrally located for travelling by water buses.
Rooms are not huge but are well furnished and comfortable.
All in all, Sheraton Stockholm is one of the better hotels in Scandinavia. Very good value for the money.

Magical Stockholm & Friendly Hosts
Sheraton Stockholm is just what you would expect it to be. Familiar yet unique experience, you are about to remember.

Okay, I might be a bit brand-hearted, however, I have enjoyed my stay to the maximum.

What makes this property uniques is the friendliness of the staff, always willing to reach an extra mile in order to please the guest.

Special thanks to Beatrice (I think I remembered the name) who checked us in, as well as to the rest of the front desk staff. They fulfilled all of our requests (although we tried not to be too demanding). :)

Next time I am in Stockholm, Sheraton will again be my choice, and I would recommend the same to you reading this, whoever you are. :)

One night spent at Sheraton
My husband and I had a great time at Sheraton hotel.
Our flight was cancelled and we were forced to stay in Stockholm one more night and we have chose Sheraton due to it renown and it location near the central station.
The room was spacious and clean, bedding was perfect.
We had a dinner at the Brasserie 360, everything was perfect, the place was so cocoon and peacefull.
We recommand this hotel for sure!

Business Trip
Stayed here for 4 nights. Was met with professional, attentive and polite staff at all times. Rooms are huge. I ate at the bar and the bar staff and food again very good. The hotel is also in a great location because you are not far away from anything.
I would stay again. I just wouldn't want to stay in room number I had 240 and it is right above the GYM so I wouldn't want to stay in there again as you get woken up by the early ones getting a gym session in.

Stayed for five nights and experienced no problems, aside from feeling chilly sometimes. (Hazard of a winter visit.). Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Business centre readily accessible and staff happy to provide more printer paper, stapler, etc. Good breakfast buffet. Gym is reasonably well-equipped.

Room was spacious by Stockholm standards and quite comfortable. Bathtub/shower a bit high sided when stepping in and out.

Good location.

We stayed during Nobel week at the Sheraton and I can't speak highly enough about the hotel and its staff. Our room with two queen beds was large, clean, quiet, and well appointed with a view of the City Hall. The breakfast was extensive with attendant staff and a wide array of freshly made items. Most notably, however, I think the staff was extremely friendly and willing to go out of their way to accommodate some special requests that we had. The location near the Central Station is very convenient for transit to/from the airport and the proximity to the Old Town as well as the central shopping district, makes this an ideal hotel. Overall, I thought the hotel was excellent value. It will certainly be my first choice on future visits to Stockholm

Stayed here five years ago and again recently for three nights. The location is quite good to get to Gamla Stan and the shopping areas. The rooms are a bit older than the photos, but still in good condition. We had a great experience with some of the people working here, but there was one lady at the end who just didn’t seem appropriate to be working in hospitality. But besides that, our stay with comfortable and they have connecting rooms. Also, try to get a lake view room vs courtyard, the view is nicer.

Very good place. Room are quiet and very nice view on the sea. Breakfast is various and very good. Location is perfect to visit Stockholm. Why I didn't put 5 stars: for small things that matters in a five stars hotel: one of the legs of the armchair was broken, quality of the wood for door in the room not fresh, noise isolation of the windows in the room can be improved, not enough plug for chargers...and bathroom is very small. But I recommend the hotel and I will come back.

If you want a hotel that is fancy yet cheap, then this one is absolutely perfect for you. When I first arrive, the hotel looks super clean and has very calm and nice staff. The entire room was so pretty and looked like something you would pay a pretty good amount for. The breakfast buffet was so big, it had so many different drinks, such as coffee, juice, milk, and the list goes on. They had so many different types of food to pick and had so many classic breakfast foods such as bacon, eggs, pancakes, and other foods. Food 10/10, service 10/10, room 10/10, so let’s just say that there will be a 10/10 percent chance I will be coming again.

This was a lovely hotel. I was greeted at the door by smiling associates. My room was ready with a mobile check-in. Beds were comfortable and breakfast, although not included with the room was a full Swedish buffet breakfast.
Many of the tables had a view of the street and the bridge to Kungsgaten.
Although the breakfast queue was  long, I did not have to wait for food to be prepared. Everything was fully stocked continually. This hotel is well worth the investment in a Stockholm adventure.

Great location as walking to distance to everywhere.  Feels like a safe area, so you feel comfortable walking to and from hotel anytime of the day.  Reception staff (Roberto) really welcomed us.  Our room was comfortable with view of the courtyard (used points for this stay) and was given late checkout which we didn’t use but was nice to be offered as an option (again because of points/rewards status) and we would stay here again next time in Stockholm for the location and great check in/ check out service.
