Brilliant
We cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. It has a beautiful interior and is in a perfect location, being only a minute walk from the old town square. It’s a great starting place for all the main attractions and has numerous good restaurants nearby. ALL the staff were very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable- giving excellent directions- and made us feel very welcome. The room was large and spotlessly clean. A “ handy” was provided for use, which had internet connection and assisted with sightseeing or info on restaurants, really useful. Breakfast was very good with a huge choice. All this, plus the personal touches ( chocs on Valentines Day and a bottle of bubbly) made our 35th wedding anniversary truely memorable. Thank you.

Great location! Great service! Even packed me breakfast for my early flight!
I really can't say enough good things about this place! Location is a stones throw (50ft?) from the main Old Town Square. Which is nice because it makes it extra easy to get some nice night pix with the lighting when you might other have missed it. But the thing I was also exceptionally impressed by was the personalized service given by the staff and namely Hamdid the main reception manager during the daytimes when I was there. I was solo without any plans booked yet, and not only did he help me book a tour to cover everything I wanted to see (Prague All Inclusive Tour I believe), he also helped draw out on a map how/where to walk to go checkout the other stuff not on the tour (New Town) since I'd arrived late afternoon (after all tours for my first day had already left). Not only that, but he also asked when my flight was leaving on my last morning, noted that I'd be leaving before breakfast opened, and so had breakfast foods PRE-PACKED for me and put in my minifridge the night before!! That extra touch was there frosting on the cake of an otherwise great stay! And, oh yeah, the rooms and the breakfast are very nice too ;)

Fabulous Central Hotel 2mins from Old Town Square
Excellent hotel , service , staff faultless
Breakfast extensive and served 7-11am !
Superior room was huge with a large bathroom including a bath
Lots of small touches - chocolates on Valentine’s Day - I love you apples at breakfast
My only 2 faults - no tea making facilities in the room
Nespresso machine with only 2 pods a day no choice and no teabags !
It was milder weather than expected but the communal areas were far too hot

Magnificent Location.
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, set just back from the main square, your within walking distance of everything. (tour guides are only on the other side of the square).
The staff are very friendly and helpful, ensuring a high level of cleanliness of the beautiful rooms.
We stayed in January, so the underfloor heating was a godsend on our feet when returning from a 6 hour walking tour.!!

We will be returning and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Thank you for a wonderful time.

Perfect in every sense
We stayed at the Ventana in December. I chose this hotel because of its location but wondered if we might compromise on quality. How wrong could I be. The hotel is beautifully appointed, two minutes away from the old town square and the astronomical clock. The room was spacious, lots of light and beautifully clean. There is a lift for those who cannot manage stairs. Buffet style breakfast was included in the price, and you wont be dissapointed. Beautifully laid out breakfast tables and a large array of food including both cooked (English) and continental. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. One of the handiest things for us was the handset in pur room, travel buddy, which we could take out with us for Googles maps etc - this was free of charge and a real boon if like is you dont like carrying your phome with you. One of the nicest places we have stayed.

Return Visit, has aged well since last a guest here
Special thanks to staff (Ema) for arrainging driver pick up at the train station via email. We checked in but really wish there was a streamind version of this instead they want you to sit a lobby couch and fill out the paper work. Our room was beautiful with high celings and plenty of closet space. Also included is a smart phone for your use during your stay including free phone calls to anywhere in the world! We liked the Android unit for just navigation in the old town! Breakfast is complete and well staffed with caring people. Just the right amount of food! We love the location and would return next trip in Prague.

We think the lobby is very dark and needs something to bring it up to the level of the rooms. Otherwise, Ventana is a great choice. Not quite a 5 star but a solid 4 star!

Great location. Wonderful staff
This was the first time we had visited Prague so we were not sure what to expect. We travelled with Jet2 City breaks and found the whole experience to be top class. Easy taxi transfer from the airport to our hotel for the weekend the Hotel Ventana, which turned out to be a great choice. The hotel is situated practically on the Old Town Square however despite its location the extra double glazing kept street noise to a minimum. Our room was spacious and luxurious and was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was varied and the staff attentive. The staff in general were all absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful and in particular the staff on the front desk who were superb.

Fantastic Hotel + Wonderful Experience
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ventana Hotel in Prague from 1 to 4 November 2018. We took the train from Vienna to Prague and since we packed light, we were able to walk from the Main Train Station to the hotel without any kind of problem. The hotel was easy to find as it located a stone throw from the Old Town Square and the Clock Tower. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by a gentleman (bell captain) that offered assistance with our luggage. The check-in was quick and efficient. Since we booked our room directly with the hotel, we did not encounter any issues with our reservation. The hotel staff at check-in were friendly, fully fluent in English, and eager to make us feel welcomed. Since we did not have set plans, they made us aware of “The Prague All Inclusive Day Tour”. That was a great recommendation since it covered everything about Prague in sufficient detail to gain a comprehensive knowledge about the city at a very reasonable price (we highly recommended). The rooms were clean and charming. Our room had the largest amount of closet space that we have ever seen in the hotels that we have stayed during our European travels! All appliances were in working order and loved the bathroom details, as well. The breakfast selection was fantastic (not too much to overwhelm you, but sufficient to please all tastes). All tables had white cloth and the personnel attending to it were courteous and accommodating with my wife’s request for made-to-order omelets. The hotel staff was always willing to offer recommendations for places to see, things to do, and or restaurants to visit. Overall this hotel far exceeded our expectations and will definitely recommend it to those considering visiting Prague in their travel plans.

Charming Hotel in the Heart of a Charming City
It was my first time visiting Prague ( and definitely won't be my last) . Fortunately my friend and I managed to book the hotel the morning of our flight to Prague from Budapest. The hotel is quaint, charming and very well priced - and only added to our immense enjoyment of this incredible city. The breakfast buffet was included in our price and was very generous - offering a vast range of foods; the rooms were clean; the bathrooms modern and spacious; the room had a coffee maker; free wi fi and most importantly - a spectacular view of the nearby church and cobble stone streets lined with archways - which is the amazing Old Town Prague! I will definitely be back to Prague and back to the fabulous Ventana. Bronwyn, Melbourne Australia

Room, location, service -- all perfect
We arrived before noon before check-in time but were able to get into our room which is such an advantage. The room is large, well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. It was much warmer than expected for October and the a/c struggled to cool the room down once it got warm. We solved that problem by leaving the windows open during the day because it was cool in the mornings and evenings. The a/c was then able to keep the temperature cool quite handily. Of course, we closed the windows to sleep and the double windows blocked all noise. The hotel even provides a cell phone for your use while there with free international calls.

Location right in Old Town Square allowed us to walk in all directions in a matter of minutes. Lots of restaurants. I'm not a shopper but the main upscale shopping street and square are also just minutes away. Excellent breakfast. Extremely helpful staff.

Prague is pretty easy to get lost in, but if you stay here, you'll never get lost because it is right next to the Cathedral in the heart of town, thirty seconds away from the old town square. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with large windows and capacious closets. Staff is very helpful, and the breakfast is excellent.

The atmosphere, room, service and amenities at the Ventana are first-rate. I spent 8 nights in a 3rd floor loft room, which felt more like having a private studio suite in the heart of one of Europe's most charming cities. Very high marks for the fine breakfast buffet that starts each morning. The staff was uniformly kind and welcoming and made my week-plus stay a constant pleasure. Proximately to the city's most famed landmarks is ideal. The heart of old town Prague is mere steps away. I heartily, highly recommend the Ventana.

A hotel with a perfect location - in the heart of Prague. We had a view of the Old Town Square from our window. Nice room, not the newest, but nothing was missing. We were very pleased with the breakfasts. Everything was delicious, fresh and lots of choice. A wonderful dining room with an interesting bookcase. Kind and helpful staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant.
