B&B Hotel Napoli

The property hasn't really got step free access despite what's listed when making a booking. There is a step at the main entrance and no obvious way to alert the staff a disabled person is outside. The hotel has a special device which can winch a wheelchair up the stairs but it is only suitable for their hotel wheelchair (requires a transfer) and it is not suitable for any electric wheelchairs. This is not clear when making a booking. While the staff did offer to help carry me up the stairs this is not an appropriate solution. The room itself was fine and the location was excellent.

Pros:
1) location
2) rooftop terrace - beautiful sunset views
3) staff was trying to accommodate- but what can you do when the hotel is just run down
Cons:
1) AC technical issues in many rooms (we tried 4 different rooms - and on a hot Naples day- none of them had AC)
2) mosquitos in the rooms! We got bit up severely!
3) overall dingy rooms - absolutely basic (similar to a Motel 6 from the 80s)
4) super tiny shower stall- similar to a cruise ship cabin
5) only shampoo and shower gel combo - minimal amenities
6) safe was broken
We would not recommend this hotel- and unfortunately would be concerned to stay at this brand in any other town.

The room is spacious and the bed and pillows are super comfortable. The problem is the hotel stairs smell bad, and the space look dirty. It was not a good first impression. However train station is only 5 minutes away by walking, so that is pretty convenient.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, rooms are very comfortable, with wifi included. Very centrally located just up the road from the train & bus terminal. Very convenient to take a bus from the airport and a 5 min walk to the hotel. It is very close to the shopping areas and there are lots of tours in the city which are walking distance. As well as some great restaurants.
