HOTEL KAISERHOF

Excellent hotel.
The Hotel is very well located, in the city center/downtown, close to the tourist attractions and main shopping areas. There are some fine restaurants near it. But, most important:
1. It is a beautiful, charming classic hotel, impeccable room and premises.The room was especially cosy and comfortable, and very well cleaned and maintained.
2. There were very nice small gifts both at arrival and departure, always good to feel welcome.
3. Service was ultra efficient and also very attentive and friendly, always ready to help with tips and all kinds of bookings. Also they sell the Vienna Card (transport ticket) which was quite helpful).
4. In the morning of the Vienna Marathon there were bananas and other nutritional gifts for runners before they went to the starting line. A very nice touch.
5. Breakfast was very good, and so were snacks and drinks at the bar (there is no restaurant but you can have meals at the bar).
To sum it up, it was an excellent experience and I would recommend it to anyone going to Vienna. I am especially impressed by the staff, they were really wonderful, easy communication in English and an exceptional attitude. They really make the difference.

Hotel Kaiserhof Wien will be the only place for us to stay.
My wife and I have visited Vienna many times and stayed at other hotels. For our last visit this April we stayed at the Kaiserhof. This will be the only place for us from now on. This is a boutique hotel with 74 rooms. The hotel is completely spotless and clean in every corner. How this hotel stays looking fresh and unworn is a testament to the entire staff. Every staff member was very courteous, friendly and helpful when needed. The breakfasts are the best in Vienna and the best we have experienced in all our trips to Europe. This hotel is old school classical but still makes one feel right at home. By the end of our stay, we were feeling like we were staying with family. If you visit Vienna the Kaiserhof is an experience that should not be missed.

Perfect from start to finish.
This is a superb hotel from a start to finish. All of the staff at fantastic and make you feel very welcome. I had a small issue with the temperature of my room on arrival behaves the heating had mistakenly been left on but it was very quickly fixed and I was assured I could move if it wasn’t the right temperature on my return. Perfect customer service. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and a pillow menu. The bar is perfect for a pre-meal drink, and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is outstanding. HUGE SELECTION and all of it delicious. It was my Dad’s birthday whilst we stayed and without prompting the hotel offered him a bottle of wine as a gift. A brilliant stay! Thanks to all the staff and would love to return.

Liked - Its an excellent hotel, in a great location, near metro and tram stations.
Friendly stuff, cozy rooms (the bed is a bit soft for my taste, but that's just me!). The welcome chocolate in the pillow is lovely! Free water and tea / coffee facilities too in the rom too.
Breakfast is awsome, a large variety of everything, including salmon, sparkling wine and pancakes / wafles!
Its a beautiful historical buiding with lovely decorations. Sparkling clean everywhere!
Plus a supermarket in the next block should you need anything.
We would definately come back to Kaisehof hotel, its a must!
Disliked - The mattress was a bit soft for my taste. Also they should add an extra outlet next to the bed, for charging phones AND have the bed lamp in the same time. But they have another big lamp in the room, so that wasn't really an issue.
