We enjoyed quite a few things about this hotel. The bed we had was one of the most comfortable of all the hotels we have been to in the last 3 years. I don't know what it was but it was amazing. The breakfast was also the best I've had in a long time, definitely rivaling the spread in hotels in say, Zermatt. The staff was excellent, from the receptionists, to the cleaners and breakfast staff. All very helpful and very polite. The only downsides were the elevator, which wasn't working during our 4 day stay, and i suspect it's been this way for some time. The room itself had some bits, in the bathroom especially, that could do with some TLC. Nothing terrible, but just in need of some maintenance. All that said, we enjoyed being there. The location is just perfect to see the main parts of the city, and close access to all the other main attractions. Also, go to the bar to watch the sunset. It's great.

Classic hotel in Centre of Port area. Bar has view overlooking port. Great location for central area. Rooms very comfortable, maid service every day with clean towels. Mini fridge with free water. Breakfast pricey.

The Grand Hotel Beauvau at Vieux-Port is fabulous! We could not be happier with the friendly and professional service we experienced with all staff members, the beautiful accommodations, the fantastic breakfast, and the view! Yes, the view! We requested a room with a view of the port, and it turns out this 200+ year old, well maintained hotel is in the center of everything. We were in close proximity to countless amazing outdoor cafes, beautiful historic sights, and lots of activity (musicians, acrobats, easy access to transportation). We remember most fondly an excellent bartender in the hotel bar, the amazing view from our room, how quiet our room was when we closed our windows to shut out the activity from the port, and the wonderful spread of local products for breakfast.

I would not say anywhere else in Marseille. Stunning boutique hotel, great location- (we've walked everywhere) warm welcome from the start, all staff were friendly and seemed to have enjoyed working there and here is something to highlight: Alex- thank you for your professionalism, lovely smile and going an extra mile to make our stay so special and memorable. You are an absolute gem! Hotel bar is super cosy and fab escape for windy and cold weather. Breakfast - variety of fresh products and well presented. Well worth the price. Chahida+ colleague  thank you for your diligence, discret observation and unintentionally arranging sweet suprise for a birthday boy. It melted my heart. Things like that make the overall experience special.
