My 3 nights at this hotel were wonderful. As my first experience 1 year a year ago was great, I was delighted that it more than lived up to my expectations this 2nd time as well. I booked this (truly central) hotel for a United Nations conference, which went smoothly because I could enjoy the bus trips which let me see Lake Lehman, and it was not long. The large bed was extremely comfortable, as was the room itself. Waking up to a lovely view was a real pleasure! (see photo) And all of my communication with the owners and staff were delightful. I look forward to returning! -- The 2nd photo below is the Bel Air bus and tram square which is only 3 minutes on foot from the hotel, and you are overlooking the lake here.

Location was right on! But the place was bear bones. The hallways have a peculiar smell. The building was also commercial. I took my boys to a 4 star after 2 days, but they claimed this was more fun! Triple bunks! And a tiny tiny veranda to sit on and watch some life in Geneva. How can I forget....they offered earplugs on the table upon arrival!

Amazing place to stay. Great price for a 2 stars hotel. Deserving 3 stars. Lovely staff. In a perfect location to discover the beautiful city of Geneva. Small rooms but location and staff makes up for this. It can be a bit of hit and miss. We did have two rooms, one lovely clean the other was not clean and shower was not working properly.

I wasn't expecting too much from this hotel however I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed in room 34 which I am sure has the best view of any of the rooms. There is a balcony area accessible from two areas of the room to allow you to enjoy the views of the city below. The bathroom is a little unconventional, with the toilet in a separate room and the sink and shower behind another door. However, this is not a problem. Beds are comfortable and the shower is what I call "proper" in that it is powerful and gets hot very quickly. The addition of a simple breakfast was a positive I did not anticipate as I did not pay for this when booking. I got a croissant & bread bun with butter, orange juice and coffee. All was good bar the coffee which was fairly "meh". My only issue is that any noise outside in the corridor of other travelers entering and leaving their rooms penetrates through to the room, and with doors being locked by traditional lock and key, there is plenty of noise to penetrate through.
