Scandic Gothenburg

Great location few steps from train station and all tram lines.  Hotel has a big bar and restaurant that provides great food.  You needed as most place closes at 9pm in Sweden.  Room is big and clean.  Don't have bath tub but everything else was good.  Great breakfast!

Hannah at reception was an amicable professional and assisted me with all my questions. The hotel is right across the street from the central station, and it was convenient for us since we were transiting to Copenhagen and only stayed one night. The hotel includes breakfast next to a mall near all transportation.  The pool and sauna are a nice touch for those looking to unwind after a long day. Thank you, Hannah, for the warm welcome!

Rooms are quite small and suites the business travel as we spend time to sleep. Has all the amenities within the hotel like gym, spa and swimming pool. The food in the HAK restaurant was awesome as shrimp sandwich was good. Breakfast buffet was very good too as it had lot of options and Indian non veg eaters also have delicious chicken sausage, bread etc. There are complimentary fruits at each lift lobby if you want a quick bite.

Horrible hotel facility - I stayed for one night for a biz trip.  There is no proper shower area in the bathroom and once you take a shower, the bathroom floor is flooded. You literally need to stand in the water to do anything (going to toilet, wash your hands, getting towel). I stayed on the 7th floor. Honestly, I wouldn’t call this one a 4 star hotel but rather a hostel with very old room facilities. With EUR200+ nightly rate, it’s by no means worth the money. Staff are friendly and breakfast is alright though.
