The hotel is in an amazing old palace on the outside and is just a few steps from the main railway station Termini and a few kilometers from the main Rome attractions.
The experience on the inside of a hotel doesn't match the five star promise of a Radisson Collection hotel. We got a room overlooking the service entrance without real sunlight throughout the day, with clumsy curtains in the bathroom, without hot water all four days we stayed there.
It would be great if the front desk staff would be a bit more welcoming, wear a smile and be friendly sometimes.
The breakfast was good, but the best was the ambiance of a big old palace hall.
