B&B Hotel Madrid Alcorcón

I had a great experience staying at B&B Alcorcon. Since check-in the staff was very polite and attentive. I wanted to mention that the politeness of the staff exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and the service was on point. Every day after exploring Madrid my bed was clean and the room was spotless.  Breakfast was very tasty.

We live in Toulouse, France, and stayed in this hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting family and friends in the Madrid area, who we had not seen for more than 1 year.
In general, we were very happy with the hotel. The room was clean, modern and everything worked as it should. The bed was absolutely great!
We took the option of no room cleaning in exchange for a 4€ per night refund, which I thought was a great idea!
I cannot praise the staff enough for their friendliness and efficiency!
The breakfast was only OK, with limited choice and only average quality, although the coffee was good!
NOW TO MY BIG COMPLAINT: Having to wear plastic gloves to use the buffet at breakfast was one of the most ridiculous measures I have encountered since the start of the pandemic!! Nobody is more conscious than us of the need to wear masks (we always use FFP2 type), to sanitise hands and to social distance etc, but the use of plastic gloves AS WELL as hand sanitiser does not contribute anything to reduction of transmission of the virus! What it does do is make a huge contibution to the amount of plastic going into the environment at a time when this is already recognised as a global crisis that needs to be addressed urgently!! Please, please consider changing your policy on this issue and give me some feedback as to your opinion of my complaint.

We really liked the style of the hotel, modern, practical and functional. For a work trip it is perfect. Very friendly staff, with personal attention at reception 24 hours. We miss not being able to regulate the air conditioning in the room, because for us a constant temperature of 23-24 degrees is excessive and prevented us from resting well. Otherwise everything perfect. We will be back.

In general very happy with the hotel, but there are a couple of points that I think could be improved:
1. The temperature of the room is too high for sleeping (25ºC) and it is not possible to lower it.
2. There is a led light on the switch above the desk which lights up the room at night and is annoying.
Otherwise the hotel is impeccable, I recommend it 100%.
