The Western Hotel Galway

Just back from a stay here. The rooms are very nice well looked after hotel. The bar food was of very good quality and the traditional Irish music on Thursday nights was amazing. Breakfast was also of very high quality. The bed was very comfortable too. I definitely will stay here again.

Friendly and welcoming staff, very walkable to everything downtown and the water but was also very quiet at night. The cute hotel bar had amazing live Irish music!

Extremely low. Not at all above 2 stars. Even better to say it's not good to give even 2 stars. Not friendly at all. No water bottle, no fridge, no water drink glasses and even garments hanging cabinet is blocked by ironing board. When called the receptionist for any essential items like water bottle or Water drinking glasses the reply was very rude and unexpectedly low and bad.

What an excellent hotel, very comfortable beds, lovely hardworking staff, great location, super tasty breakfast, free parking and close to everything. Looking forward to my next stay, my only small issue is that the bar closes too early.
