Victoria Hotel Minsk

Very unprofessional staff,  especially reception and duty manager. When I was making a booking via phone, they didn't give me any details such as booking reference or else so when we arrived to the hotel they said that there is no booking in the system and had to search a new room for us on the spot which took a lot of time to register us again. I'm from Belarus and my husband is not so according to the policy of the hotel we had to pay extra per night because he's a foreigner! Unbelievable. I've travelled so many countries and stayed in different hotels but first time see such discrimination. Spa also was closed during our stay because they switched off the water for some reason. Gym needs some extension, extremely basic. When we tried to talk to a manager about what happened she was rude and negligent and looked like she didn't care at all. Reception also said if you don't like conditions you can change the hotel. No comments. The positive thing was the location of the hotel and the room was nice and cosy, cleaning staff was amazing, the lady cleaned and replaced amenities every day. I enjoyed breakfast buffet as well, since a lot of Belarussian style dishes, but my husband didn't really like because was a new taste for him so if you are picky and not into trying new things you might not like it.

Great place, clean, friendly staff, everybody speaks at least enough English to help you, and menu comes in English and Russian at the restaurant. My wife enjoyed the spa.

Excellent Business Hotel, really friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a great Gin&Tonic at the reception Bar.
We arrived in the middle of the winter, and it was so nice being received by such nice and warm smiles from the staff. The rooms where really comfortable and really nicely decorated, the bathroom was very clean and nice, only observation it was the height of the Tub wall, it was to high that all the time I was getting in or out of the tub I was afraid of fall, other than that I had no complains.
Breakfast where delicious, abundant and a great selection fresh selection of items. The view from my room was really pretty even when it was winter (looking forward  to see the views during summer).

Our stay was great. Will deffenetly come back. Room is comfortable and clean. Staff are very polite and friendly. We had to buy breakfast in the morning and was little overpriced in my opinion $15 per person. Food was good but still expensive.
