Galway Arms Inn

Very affordable hotel in a very central location. Great and friendly staff, good for sitting out having a drink. Didn't get a chance to have the food but it looked and smelled amazing. As the rooms are so central it's a very busy junction for traffic so pack some earplugs.

Not as much of a bargain as one would hope. The people there are the sweetest and funny and seriously great service but the first part is that it says it includes breakfast which it didn’t you have to buy it at the pub downstairs and this doesn’t start till 9. Also the WiFi didn’t work on the third floor. Great proximity to town though but just your bare minimum from a “inn” perspective. I’d drink here again, but not stay or eat.

Galway Arms Inn was a nice place to stay. The weekend we were there was crazy busy, and it was good we were able to stay here on short notice. The rooms were nice, although it was a bit odd to check in and out of the bar downstairs rather than an office. I would stay here again if I'm in Galway in the future.

Excellent food and drink, reasonably priced. The management and staff are friendly and helpful while the clientele are welcoming. All in all a great experience and a hostelry that I would highly recommend.
