Hilton Rotterdam

Centrally located, parking nearby. The rooms are comfortable, modern and contemporary. Are not noisy and offer a quiet workplace. Room facilities are excellent. Room service/in room dining is excellent and affordable. Staff interacts correctly and offer help with all questions. They make you feel at home and as it was new year offer special deals like "oliebbollen" and champagne. Shops are within walking distance sadly they were closed due to corona. Last time my experience was less positive but this stay makes up for it again. Great work!

Nice business hotel, and I have been here several times. The executive level upgrade was very kind, and the room was quiet and I was able to work and fulfill my business appointments. The VIP lounge on the ground floor is good, and you can invite a business guest for a quick drink and a good chat. Breakfast is a standard European continental breakfast with good selections of cold cuts and warm dishes. The restaurant for dinner is great, excellent service and good food. Still on my list to come back and I am looking forward to my next trip to Rotterdam to stay at the Hilton.

Unfortunately, a negative aftertaste remains after the stay at the Hilton Rotterdam. On the one hand, the pleasantly perfumed room scent in the corridors and the perfect beds speak of actually a 5 star house. But unfortunately it also stops there. The building is very old and the hotel has no spa area. Of course, I could have read about this in advance on the internet, but for me it does not speak for a 5 star hotel. The hallways along the rooms were partly very dirty and not vacuumed. And the icing on the cake was the breakfast... (See pictures) on a Saturday with 100% hotel occupancy, the breakfast was served by TWO waiters. All tables were full of dirty dishes and were not cleared. Upon request, one had to wait half an hour for the table to be cleaned. The buffet was replenished very slowly, so you sometimes did not get certain products because of the queues. And then the coffee machine broke down. On all inquiries, requests and complaints, the waiter simply does not respond at all and told me to complain somewhere else. He could not help it... next Rotterdam visit will probably be a Marriott stay!

Hilton Rotterdam has a great location and its only little over 5min walk from the train station. Service was good and I enjoyed the breakfast a lot, especially the fresh orange juice. Executive lounge was a nice touch. However, the room was a bit dirty and thats why its losing a star. When I moved the curtains aside there was peanuts and all kind of dirt unfortunately.
