Penta Hotel Brussels City Centre

We had a great stay, from start to finish!
We can’t express enough how great this hotel is. From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out, it was superb!
First of all, we loved the rooms. They’re so aesthetically beautiful with ample space and comfy beds. The breakfast was super lovely with so many varied options to choose from, from cooked breakfast to pastries, waffles tea and coffee station, with so many vegan/vegetarian options. Besides, all the staff were very friendly and efficient, always cheering us with a smile.
We will definitely be back! Thank you guys for a lovely stay.

Me and my husband spent 2 nights there, the staff were so not friendly, no smiling, no welcoming.
The decor is nice, We noticed that the furniture is old and needs renovation because it had stains.
We wanted to check in at 12pm but we were told that we can't, in which we understood we came back on check in time, but the room was not clean properly, it was dusty..
The breakfast was the only thing good and delicious, a lot of vegan options.
Overall, it's a good experience.

Well the Hotel is definitely clean but not worth a 4 star for sure. The rooms ends before even it has started and not good enough toiletries in the room. The reception is a bar cum reception and if you have forgotten a toothbrush or need a dental kit or a shaving kit then forget about it. The breakfast was standard and average. Apparently they charge city tax but if you have booked through expedia, you wont get a full receipt because the Hotel doesnt give you a receipt and only give you receipt for city tax. I was at other hotels in Brussels with a far far better experience and can definitely confirm they had all the characteristics of a 4 star hotel. However, i must say that location is really good and the hotel has a hip look from outside..so some pluses are there.

Hotel very conveniently located: next to tram station, at a short walk from Place Stéphanie and Louise metro station, very close to Bailly/Chatelain area and Janson area.
The room has a great size, with a huge double bed, and the decoration is very stylish. The bathroom is of decent size and well functional. I love the brand of the shower gel and shampoo: it smells so good!
Special kudos to the staff: although they seem to be overworked (I felt they were understaffed), they were super friendly and helpful at any time.
While it is a great location, it is just next to a busy street and it can get quite noisy. Moreover, I also noticed the walls of the bedroom and bathroom were quite dirty, full of hair and of dirt stains. I am sure the cleaning staff do a great job for the cleaning of the shower and bed (nothing to say here), but they don’t have enough time to clean more; I wish the management team would give them more time to also clean deeper once in a while.
