We booked a standard room through Agoda and the site DIDN'T specify that standard rooms do NOT have airconditioning! We somehow got a room facing the road and it was noisy and too hot because of direct sunlight through the windows. The curtains were not helping! The guy at the reception wasn't speaking in English but just basically told us that we don't have the choice to upgrade to a different room and that the hotel is "full" ( how can a hotel be full in the middle of a pandemic? ). We also don't have the choice of moving to a different "standard" room in the other side of the building away from the main road. He told us: "it's because you wanted to book it cheaply on Agoda, you only get a cheap room with no airconditioning!" (Sure, it was not specified on the site! Had we known that the cheapest room didn't have A/C, we could've had the choice to book the room woth one!)
To be fair, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable and we felt safe.

The nearest tram stop Invalidenpark is 2 minutes walk away, just one stop of tram ride away from main station. This is not a new hotel but at least this is clean and well maintained. Staffs were friendly and check-in was efficient. My room is pretty spacious with comfortable beddings, good wifi and strong shower. A very good value hotel.

Reception was very friendly. Arrived a few hours before room ready time and were able to leave our bags so we could explore without our luggage. The room was very inviting with an exceptional shower. Overall my stay was very nice. My only complaint would be the road noise as it's near what seems to be a main hospital so lots of ambulances nearby. Not a massive problem if the windows are closed, but if it's warm I imagine it would be hard to sleep.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel in December ‘18. Obviously it was a cold time of year but the hotel/bedrooms were lovely and warm. It was spotlessly clean. We had a large corner room on the main road, which was pretty busy in the morning but you heard very little of this. Although a bit of a walk to the main part of town, there was a pretty good tram system. I would highly recommend a visit to the natural history museum which is right across the road. The railway station is a 5 min walk. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant around the corner and plenty of local bars. I would happily stay here again.
