Bauer Hotel

We stayed here for four nights in March 2022. The hotel really impressed immediately on entering. The reception were very welcoming and our room was very comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and an amazing mirrored bathroom. All the staff were delightful, helpful and charming. The location is perfect being on the central canal so the water taxi from and to the airport docks very close by. St Mark's Square is just a minute away. Absolutely delightful.

We had a large room with a wonderful view of the canal. The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony and watching to boats and gondoliers. They still use the quaint old fashioned keys. The food in the  restaurant is good but we were not as impressed with the restaurant staff.

Enjoyed a lovely but short stay in Room 308. Had wonderful views from the room and enjoyed the extremely comfortable bed and bathroom. I would recommend that the hotel add window screens to their rooms. The Grand Canal makes a beautiful sight, and sleeping with the windows open would be a lovely option if not for all of the mosquitoes.

Amazing hotel, beautiful location, amazing breakfast and bars… specially rooftop. Sheets and bed wonderful. Maid service very helpful. Great bathtub for long tiring days of walking. Walk in closet. 2 doors so you don’t hear those in hallway. Room service over priced $26 for 2 dishes of ice cream. Could use more as far as Devore on outside front of hotel on the piazza part. Flowers plants  or something. Doesn’t do this amazing hotel justice. Deffintley 5 start. Very historic feeling. Private boat taxis entrance.
