Sir Victor Hotel

We stayed for 4 days, we had booked one of the upper floor rooms with a balcony, the room was very nice and well designed with a modern artsy kind of feel to it, great location. However, when we first arrived in our first room the AC was broken, so we had to sleep for a night in another room as the weather was too hot to be able to sleep without it. The other thing is that the view from the balcony is not that appealing to be honest. Otherwise, the service was always friendly and great, the reception are always happy to help and very friendly and professional, it was an overall great experience, and we were compensated for the issues regarding the AC with a small gift from the hotel manager.

Nice place for a cocktail. The selection was worse than in some other places but still a nice rooftop bar. They advertise it as a view of La Pedrera (Casa Mila) but you see the back of it so not really a view you’d expect. Pool looks great but no one uses it since they are a lot of people just drinking cocktails so feels weird.

Very nice hotel! Rooms were well equipped and trendy and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Only two gripes; the AC in the room was not great, didn’t get cold enough and secondly the hotel bar at weekends would turn into some sort of euro techno rave, could be heard from my room and was not very relaxing or inviting.

Nice rooftop for drinks. We did however wait quite a long time to get served our drinks. The waiter was also a bit pushy trying to get us to order expensive bottles of alcohol and champagne which was out of our budget and made us feel quite uncomfortable. My friend ordered a sparkling wine and he rolled his eyes as he wrote it down.
