Very close to train station. On a lively street with restaurants, shops and a grocery store. Room was dated but clean. Had large windows made the room bright. Good breakfast choices.

It wasn't terrible taking into account a 3 star hotel but there things the management has to know in order to improve the overall establishment.
1. The reception wasn't up to scratch. Usually there is a kind lady who says yes to everything because her English isn't well. We had to wait so long to get check in , although 3 employees were there, and only one was dealing with the guests, others were immersed in conversations in Albanian, or peering deep into their monitors. And it's not professional for the reception desk to adress the guests with "Hey Man". I know it wasn't with bad intentions but it shows lack of training.
2. The rooms had a musky odor that aggravated my allergies and the room service was ok.
3. The luggage storage area is just a recess under the stairs with dozens of people passing by. Out in the open.

Location is great, 10 minutes walk from bus stop where the airport bus drop off. Rooms standard but don't expect air conditioning in April and also double room are literally two single beds joined together. Overall clean. Breakfast not great for vegetarian. Lady at reception very nice and helpful but don't expect much from the guy who may be the owner. He's not rude or anything but just hardly talk or ever smile, don't take it personally, he's just like that.

The free breakfast alone makes this place worth it. Eggs, sausage cheese, coffee, sweets, etc. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were very friendly as well. I had read some reviews that said the staff was not friendly, but I feel like these were written by employees from other hotels trying to drop Epoque's review score. Also, location is great. 5 minutes from the train station. On a fun note, it's one of the most kitsch hotels you'll ever see. Everything is covered in gold. Gold mirrors, gold floors, gold walls. It's like walking into a quasi-fancy 1920s ballroom.
